Kamp-Rite is selling them here in the USA (check amazon). Lots of complaints about poor quality and substandard parts. Evidently the wheel bushings break quickly and easily. Too bad, I really like the concept but I'll stick with a cargo trailer and portable hammock stand for now.
To those commenting about pulling that much weight, I pulled two, 40 lb children regularly and it was never a problem. Also, the wheel assembly on this unit swivels so turning is a breeze from what I have read.
What's the problem with your breathing??? You sound like you're either dying of asthma or are getting a little too excited while looking at this trailer. You should have muted the sound since you didn't say anything anyway.
To be perfectly honest, it looks really heavy. I'd rather cycle with 50lbs of gear loaded on the bike, including a tent, than pull this contraption. At a guess, the trailer and cot must weigh close to (or over) 75lbs - and that's with nothing in the trailer. And what on Earth does it need 4 wheels for? Wouldn't two be enough?
The whole thing weighs 67 pounds - you're are right, it could be laid like a bicycle surf trailer on two wheels, lying diagonally up toward the tail end of the bike, and that would save a 6 or 7 pounds on the golf cart wheels.
The frame weighs in around 30 pounds aluminum - spending on some carbon fiber and modern plastics would shave 15 pounds off that. All told, it could weigh in at 40 pounds, and would then be a real good option. As it is, for electric bikes only...
It is probably not intended for small trips near cities, but out where there is no possibility of finding a campsite. There is probably a reason it's called Bushtrekka :-).
Too bad it is not sold in the EU. There are duties and taxes when imported into the EU
Excellent concept. Weight is not so scary. A good general bike trailer weighs between 6 and 18 kg. In addition, you must have a tent that weighs between 2 and 6 kg. Everything is included in this trailer.
Easy to set up when you're tired after a full day of cycling.
If you tried cycling with a child trailer, of course with a child, you know that it is not so hard to pull anything after the bike.
Hi there. I realy like the trailer tent for the bicycle. I ask a few questions about it thogh. If you know can you please awnser. If no sure thats ok. Just respond saying i dont know But if do know can you send me some or all if possible awnsers to the following questions. Where do you get this trailer??? What materails does it use???
How long does it take to unfold and is it easy to unfold??? Is it easy to pull??? And how much does it cost to buy??? Thanks for reading my message and questions
Sold @ target there is a need for homeless gear so bad that they are selling this at target! Ovet 1G forclosures to round out the year. That is so sad that we have become a people to expect this! This is so cruel that our world had come to this. Great if people are using this as recreational but the people that need this are the homeless. If I were a renter and had a job I would get something like this to insure I would at the least have a place to live.
dude-i think there is some behind you

Tried website, says it doesn't exsist. Was this video shot in widescreen or 4:3? It's looks like a very short cot in this video.

What stops the rain going sideways in to the trailer storage compartment on the top?

Is the storage lockable, or are you just asking for your stuff to disappear?

I like the idea but I'd prefer only 2 wheels for less rolling resistance. Telescoping stands would provide the needed stability.

Who's the heavy breather taking the video? Doesn't sound like a cyclist.
