The other levels I demonstrated are from the very beginning of the game, and they're supposed to be less colorful than the rest of the levels of the game. So don't worry, most of the game will hopefully look as good as the Minisaurus Plains. ^^
Have you thought about what kind of level-selection system the game will have? Will there be a map screen like R1, or a Hall/Isle of Doors-type thing?
Yes, I've thought about that. And I have more than thought about it, I already have a name ( and sub-names ), and I have even drawn the complete Hall of Doors-ish level, which consists of 3 areas in total in which you can move freely. It also has quite a special atmosphere... ;)
At the moment, I'm writing the whole story ( which is really quite long - more than 2 pages already and I'm still at the beginning! ) down for a composer who I might ask to compose a soundtrack specific for this game. ^^

I use Gamemaker.
The intro song used there was only temporary, and it was downloaded from Newgrounds.

How about a online co-op mode and 4 player online (you should use colours like Red, blue, cyan, pink and etc.)

Sorry, but multiplayer mode has been cancelled, simply because there just wouldn't be enough players. :(

The Minisaurus Plains looks much better than any of the other levels for some reason. The clouds are quite spectacular...
