  • HOW was this filmed? The clarity is out of this world! I am blessed with a garden such as yours; I have about 10 Spruce Squirrels and countless Tufted Titmouse coming to my feeders. Despite the subtle colouring of the titmouse, it's my favourite bird of all time.

  • Thank you lambikins:) I never heard of the red squirrels other name before... 'spruce' squirrel...thanks for teaching me something new:) I didn't think much of the tufted titmouse until I got a close up on their face...beautiful!...To capture such nice close-ups I pressed record and let the camera film by itself (as I went inside for lunch). After an hour I returned. It is truly exciting to review the footage after that hour...like a grab bag of goodies.. Do you have grey squirrels as well?

  • @seahue Hi, seahue! Thanks for sharing how you caught this amazing video. I love how that one specific titmouse is very diligent but the other one is just so-so with follow through. No, we do NOT have grey squirrels here, in my part of Michigan. They're a "city" squirrel, around here. We have Fox and Spruce squirrels, and billions of chipmunks, of course. :)

  • hah, I was watching all kinds of Titmouse vids and yours came up. Excellent capture.

  • Thank you Tstormer!

  • Sure!

They rarely come close around here.

  • What a lovely bird, I like those big eyes so much... No "best moments of..." this time? Great capture!
