@2morebills everyone thinks that what i said was a dis on Andy & Love Bone but it wasnt its truth about the industry & how they pigeon hole bands into one catagory and since Love Bone & wood had a similar look to bands like Kings X & living color they would have most likely got thrown in with that crap plus he even said he'd tour w/warrant or anyone just to play an arena so get my point

Yanno, a lot of us say our kids missed out on the best music. And, there's a good argument there. But, I'm glad my son did. Young people during my day would so easily get sucked into substance abuse, and looking at my son and his buddies, it doesn't look like their culture has that level of drug influence.

"Hair band" is a stupid term anyway. It doesn't have anything to do with the music, just the look. I don't think there was anything wrong with trying to look good on stage, rather than looking like you just crawled out of bed.

and i dont think it was a dumb statement cuz everytime you see wood on stage he looks like a hair band guy like one of the members of faster pussycat or the guy from the bullet boys

a few hair band members had alot of talent surpisingly i doubt any had substance but i wasnt putting down MLB i was stating a sad fact about the music industry and how they mis catagorize bands we seen that when jetro tull beat out metallica for that award!
