These guitars are still being sold by Rondo music but the strat-like headtock is gone. The new headstock is hideous. They call it "SX Liquid" now. Fender must have gone after them. If you find an orignal one on ebay, buy it! I'm holding onto mine.

@NoEndTree Yes, they are still in production. They're GOOD low priced guitars. (This one is about $120)

I like SX guitars, they have great big necks, fit my hands and fingers very well.  I had the explorer version and fell in love with the neck. This one sounds way cool.

Only as muc has a les paul, meaning that while standing it will have some of natural clinge type of thing just like a les lol.

I wouldn't say it's heavy. It weighs 8 or 9 pounds, which is pretty average.

I have big hands. The only reason that I haven't bought one of these funky SXes is because they don't have wide-neck versions... unlike Agile.

i had to put a mustang neck on it just to play it standing up, it was killing my wrist.

maybe warmoth could custom make you one if you really wanted to shell out the cash.

it pretty much is a Jazzmaster just better looking.

The pickguard is identical to Jazz's.

I turned mine into a jaguar though

the pickguard was just too empty.

I had seen these on Rondo..but in the pics on site they didnt do anything for me.But when you see them in video and get to see all the angles..they look cool as hell.Like a Fender Jazzman/Jaguar with a rounder Explorer end.Ill probably pick one up when Im in the mood for a new guitar..I bet they would look great with a perl or tortoise pickguard.

Yes it is on the video. but now i have changed the bridge for a standard one (stock had a roller bridge witch i found to be the cause of thin sound from the guitar) Now it sounds more solid. I will also change the tuners eventualy, The original ones are tolerable but make the tuning a little bit difficult.

wow they look better than i thought they would up close and the sound is awesome. I just wish that SX or Agile would come up with a real Jaguar body style copy like SX did for the SJMB-62 which i own and is an incredible bass. Also does the guitar go out of tune when you use the whammy bar?

They are very playable for me. It is my first guitar with P90 type. Of course they will catch hum like any single coils. I have seen other youtube demo where the person say the neck was unplayable, he also changed the bridge. Mine is ok. The only part i will upgrade eventualy are the tuners. they are difficult to get the guitar perfactly tuned, and they do not turn very well, they are scatchy.
