All you have to do is watch the two films and you will see that. This track is in the Rocky III original soundtrack, NOT the Rocky soundtrack. So, THAT's what I'm talking about. Absolutely untrue. This music is is Riii; you hear it come in right after Rocky picks Paulie up from jail. The track continues in the scene with Rocky and Adrian in bed together when he tries to get her to sing Take You Back with him, and then it cuts to the ThunderLips match. It's not in Rocky II. Conti's music is unmistakable. To hear it and not know what scene it was in and the movie just shows that someone hasn't seen any of the films in the series in a long time.

Nice piece of music, if I may say so. The opening reminds me of how Rocky was trying to impress this babe in the pet store with his encyclopedic knowledge of fish food ingredients. And, as the relationship evolved into something more, so too does the music.

Adrian was the anchor that helped to keep Rocky's life from drifting off the path. And this song captures that perfectly.
