Yasunori Mistsuda a vraiment fait fort pour le coup... ta version est vraiment classe, très nostalgique. Mais ce que je préfère dans cette OST c'est quand même les trucs plus jazz fusion / modal a la Secret Of The Forest :-)

This song is without a doubt my favorite song EVER. Not just in videogames, EVER.

Your version of it is just spectacular. Harp was an excellent choice. It fits perfectly.

When I found your page, I immediately added you in my favorite. I love your performance, although I have no any knowledge on harp. It solaces me mystically, an aesthetic of serenity, as Ji Kang, Chinese poet-philosopher proposed a musical theory called "Music Has No Sorrow or Joy". What I am curious is that have you ever played Chrono Trigger in PS1? If not so, it leads me to the ground assumption that a spiritual music can be appreciated both in and out of context.

Thank you. Yes I've played to Chrono, but on the SNES (it's the same things!). So I've played this music first because I like it.

But, conserning Ji Kang, it seems to me that on the contrary through the music we can communicate emotions like Joy or Sorrow. But the quiet music give way to serenity of course.

And yes, I think the music can be appreciated out of context too.

harp: excellent choice. why? because you can tell that that was how the song was imagined, just like you can tell that corridors of time was imagined with indonesian instruments. this is close to a flawless remix of 600BC

Thank you, in fact, I choose harp because it was my first instrument, it's all. But I've feel that this song would be nice with harp, so I learn it. This is not exactly a remix because this is the official piano sheet music (just a little revised!).

Malheureusement je considère que l'interprétation de cette pièce n'est pas super sur cette vidéo : les prises avec la grande harpe ont été faites un peu "en catastrophe"... Ça aurait pu être mieux, mais bon... c'est déjà bien si ça plais comme ça(!).

La musique est déjà chargée en émotion à la base mais sublimée par la douceur de la harpe, elle n'en devient que plus magique. Même si je trouve qu'elle sort un peu du contexte (600 A.D.) (comprendre : Un instrument à vent me semblerait plus approprié) , tu as fais un excellent travail !

malheureusement, je n'ai pas la chance de pratiquer des instru à vent... mais c'est vrai qu'il me semble que c'est un orgue qui le joue dans l'original (NB : l'orgue tourne avec une soufflerie)... quoiqu'il y ai des cordes frottés aussi...

(et les prochains devrait enfin arriver dans pas trop longtemps!)
