I don't usually like videos like these, with people adding random music into a cutscene. But this one immediately made me think of when I was young and how I always played the MGS series, ALL the time. The emotion in the whole series pulled me in right away. And the storyline was just so beautiful. And still is. In fact, I still feel the same way towards the whole series exactly how I did years ago. And Snake will always remain my top hero. You should most defiantly reupload this in HD.

It's nice to see classics revisited, but they always change. And so rare is the occasion when I can say the remake is even on par with the original. For what it was, the scene was good. But the original is better. The gunshot was so much more dramatic. The music was ambient, not prevalent in the scene. I'll still buy the HD collection when it comes out though. Just like I'm buying all the HD re-releases of Resident Evil.

The saddest thing is that this reminded me how much Snake always wanted other people to get a "fresh start" and lead new lives because he will never get the chance. He said it to Otacon here, to Raiden in MGS2 at the end, and to Raiden again in MGS4 before the epic "Oven Hallway" scene. But Snake himself never got to start over. He stayed a soldier until the end. What a life! That fuckin sucks man...

The new music's alright but it doesn't chalk up to "Enclosure". I think this scene also lost a bit of its gravity because Snake hardly talks. It was also a lot more haunting in the first game when the wolves howled because they weren't even on screen... having them their the entire team made what they were about to do pretty obvious.

please watch the ps one version. its way better, and it doesn't have cheesy ass scenes, like wolves howling out of sadness. This gamecube version also left out the best parts of the dialogue from the original, like snake's rebuttal of wolves claim to have failed at being a wolf.  MYESH INDEED.

Actually, it was the wolves actually being onscreen that tipped me over the edge and made me cry the moment they started howling, Something that without would've just made me merely tear up. Though I will admit that the PSX version with its "Enclosure" song would've worked better in The Twin Snakes version.

@GuitarxWolf Yeah. It just doesn't feel right. Everything looks so off and there isn't that feel of strong emotion. In the PS1 version, it was a dark night, also wolves didn't surround her and then leave. But the BIGGEST mistake, was leaving out the song from MGS1.

It's called "The Best Is Yet To Come" by Aoife Ni Fhearraigh. It's beautiful, it made the scene. I think this just fucked it up.

Sniper Wolf reminds me of the boss, I don't really know her biography. So I don't really know if shes the daughter of the boss. She really reminds me of it. This is also one of the saddest things in MGS history. Really reminds me of the boss. Well, actually. I think in MGS3 they tried to recreate this? Like those white flowers are the snow...yellow hair, finished of with the patriot. Hideo really focused on the storyline. I liked that. It included the BEST gameplay, and storyline. Long live MGS!
