So by that we can know that even though rebellion is in our nature, He will always be there waiting to take us back. And as parents it's a great comfort to know that even after we die, our children will be in His hands.

My friend's little sister passed away in a car crash on Friday. Please pray that she and her husband can say they still believe after all of this. Relying on Him when your world falls apart can be difficult. I know from my own experiences that continuing to believe is difficult. Returning to Him changed my life forever and there is no pain. I don't want them to have 5 years of pain and anger like I did. I want them to have comfort. Please agree with me in prayer for them.

I would suggest tho that you read it and select portions for them to read as the beginning is heart wrenching and not necessarily something someone who just lost a child should read. There were so many answers in there for me. Will keep them in my prayers.

I also was hurt at a church in the past. I stayed in the pain for a while and let God reveal Himself to me more and let go of it.
