Just curious, what is the db level that is safe to have in everyday driving? I have heard if its too loud, it will offset your heart rhthym

@nfarnham2008 I'm pretty sure for the bass to offset your heart rhythm it would have to in the high 160's and above, and any car that's hit that high probably isn't a daily driver. But I don't know every car, so I'm sure there are a few daily drivers that are hitting high 160's. But if you're asking what's a safe db level to listen to for prolonged periods of time, IMO I'd say no more than 140db. I drove 14 hours straight with ~140db of bass blasting and my ears were kind of ringing afterwards.

@nfarnham2008 well it definitely depends on the person's heart too. You could've been experiencing heart palpitations, I don't know. I'm not a doctor haha. But I've been in several cars that meter over 160db, and I haven't experienced anything strange with my heart, and neither have the owners of those cars. But yeah I'd say around 140db is a pretty reasonable listening level.
