The 2010 Shelby ROCKS! I have one and absolutely love it! Easy to modify, pros can lay down low 12's is the quarter, imagine when you modify this beast!!!!. Not expensive to optimize the suspension and add a net 100RWHP!!! FORD did a great job with a solid rear axle, no issues to pour on the power and get it to hook. Looks hot and smokes the competition. Surely the performance bargain of the year and continues to be for 2011 onwards!

To the dude that said nobody uses the GT-R because it's AWD for drifting your right they use the sister model which is RWD. I know because I own the sister model if you find out it's name straight A's to you :-) . I am not any huge fan of American cars (too big for no more room, big engines for no more power etc.) but the Mustang (various generations of it and above all this Shelby version) is the car which keeps the essence of what a real sports car should be. It is to the compliment of Ford that makes such a car.

No need to run like a Porche or have the refinment and absolute performance of a Lamborgini (which is a car of a different level of course). A Mustang is all about character.

I do not think this body design is an improvement over the previous model. The front looks pinched down and less aggressive, and the sleeker profile detracts from the muscle car look. I prefer my friend's 2008 Shelby Cobra GT500 to this one. And by the way, this is NOT a Ford Mustang...it is a Shelby Cobra!

Beautiful car but way over priced.Look what I did.I bought a 2006 mustang GT with 3,200 miles ,garaged kept for 3 yrs. showroom cond. for $18,500, put complete exhaust system on it,Edelbrock stage1 supercharger putting 470 RWHP and 566 to motor all totaling to a nice price of around $28,500 and Ive got a high 11 second car.Just look around and build your own pony car like I did for a hell of alot less.The best thing with the Edelbrock is I can always add more power with different blower pulley.

@GMurphSC06GT thats sounds great, but like all engines there is a performance cap before having to do major internal work. like your 2006 GT with the blower, sure itputs out gt500 power but guess what you pretty close to your performance ceiling for you motor. Now with a GT500 you can up blower relatively cheap and get about 20 lbs of boost out of a stock motor and get 800+hp at the crank. btw $28k is used 07 GT500 range

You're completely wrong, the Ford GT does a Nurburgring lap time of 7:40.6. The ZR1 does a Nurburgring lap time of 7:26.4. The Ford GT does 0-60 in 3.5 seconds, ZR1 does it in 3.4! BOTH have a top speed of 205. So what it would come down to is, which is the better track car, the ZR1 is, by about 14 seconds.

The Ford GT isn't even in production anymore, so what are you on? Maybe you didn't catch on. but this is about PRODUCTION VEHICLES, kiddo.

Did your friends m5 have 5k miles on it yet? when you buy a new m5 you are supposed to take it back to bmw after 5k miles and they release its full potential. (507 hp i believe) they do that so that the engine gets broken in before you push it to its limits.
