Wow....the way you'r snapping those base notes evokes that sensation of altered time when something horriffic is happening or has happened. It makes me feel like I'm actually there and can see it. Really evocative piece of music Mike.
It would be great if I could make a film of all the evocative thoughts and visions I had whilst walking around the ruins of what was ones a great ancient city.. ever thus the shock and awe of its day.. listening back to this tune I can remember seeing a Buddha’s sculptured head left abandoned on the ground of a temple complex.. there would have been fearfulness and trepidation.. terror and dread.. and yet the serene stillness of a decapitated head smiling calmly … unmoved by the events
There are very few songwriters who can reach this depth of feeling in a song. Listening brings forth the images of the place you have described in my mind, though I have never been there. Amazing*****
Good to see you being productive. this is a fine tune. Wonderfully original and very evocative of the subject - a good eastern feel. I trust its dropped D! I learn a great deal from your videos - many thanks.
Very nice indeed 2 postings in 2 days seems like old days,by the way if you need someone to look after your 41 i would be glad to oblige serious though great to see you back!
