I designed the articulating latch system for these Seattle collection vehicles which included the kicker bar and and the guides (latches) that articulate with the force of gravity with the container in motion. This set up has worked very well in Seattle. This was done to minimize the amount of trash that gets spilled on the ground. Seattle insisted in a clean environment and we delivered. Enjoy!

That's awesome--Cleanscapes in Seattle uses this kind of safety latches and kickbar on their Mcneilus RLs too, right? Are there any other places that run trucks using your system besides Seattle?
