Al's had a few different guys over the years, and they all give you that impression. First time I saw Al live, he got a buff guy with tattoos to do it, and it was HILARIOUS. Honestly though, it's kinda hard to feel miserable when so many people are cheering and reacting to you.

This rocks! Al is awesome, but there's some weird audio glitch in the middle of the video, but despite this one awesome video, especially like that "Sarah Palin" joke :)
