  • @dinobecker614 What is Riga?

  • This video went viral on Riga

  • HI! i see that on your decks traktor shows you the key of the song playing.... so how do you that? 'cuz mu key line, only shows +0.0... any ideas? Im using traktor scratch pro 2.... thamks a LOT!

  • @manfireloko In preferences you can change everything that displays about the track. I have ran my tracks through Mixed in Key, then put the actual Key (not the camelot notation) in the grouping section of the tag. Then selected that it show in preferences.

  • I take the concept a bit further by mapping deck gain and superknob fx to the note velocity here: djtechtools com forum showthread php?t=29598

  • @keithhaus replace the first and last spaces with full stops and the other two with slashes. PROFIT

  • @keithhaus I saw your post at DJTT. Very inventive!

  • Youtube won't let me post links so try the wikipedia entry on equal temperament scale

  • @keithhaus good tip! Thanks for the post.

  • Hey mate - just been messing around with this sort of thing and I reckon you've got your values for the pitch wrong... the equal temperament scale does not increase linearly

  • @keithhaus not sure what you mean. The values I put up work perfectly. I think Traktor takes care of it so that every full increment on the knob is the value each 1/2 step should have. Funny, I minored in music in college, and we never discussed the equal temperament scale particulars or equations, we just played them, lol.

  • test

  • i gave the oxygen 49 and when i press learn, it doesnt assign.. any ideas? Thanks..

  • @Mu5ik4Life I will pm you.

  • Thank you for the awesome tutorial !

Do you have any idea of how can i remove controller and keyboard conflicts ?

I am using a Reloop Digital Jockey 2 and i want to map the keyboard and use them both in the same time. But some of the keyboard's keys take over what the controller should do (ie: syncing, skipping beats etc).

Thank you again for the tutorial !

  • @Adonis1k you could just delete the stock keyboard mapping and do your own. In preferences, controller manager, edit, delete, then add generic keyboard, and map away.

  • @MrBedroomDJ It worked just great ! Thanks !

  • Thanks again for the reference bro. The DJ is not a musician my ass : ] I'm gonna map my Akai LPD8 to do this. Cheers and looking forward to your upcoming vids, you got some really god ideas and tutorials.

  • @DeviantDigi You are welcome! I was a musician long before playing around with DJ stuff lol. But I get your point and the best DJ's are musicians, producers, etc.

  • This is the coolest idea ever. The beginning was sick! Great use of controlling Traktor

  • @djkasmira Thanks! There are more possibilities, like mapping some cue points in harmony, etc.

  • Is there a way to map an Akai LPK25? It's a USB controller...

  • @m63shredder Yes you can map any midi controller to traktor.

  • a way to get the stuff needed to follow this video ?

  • @SnakeNickkkk You need Traktor and a midi keyboard. How you get them is up to you.
