America has NO Democracy, Only Corporations VOTE with THEIR MONEY, and only Corporations GET WHAT THEY WANT.
Washington DC and ALL US Politics IS ALL ABOUT taking BRIBES and politicians are ALL becoming Corporate Whore Lobbyists and are ALWAYS in bed with other Lobbyists, ALL OF THEM LOVE being SLAVES to Corporations and Corporate Bribery. Politics is a Game of Deception, Distraction and Betrayal, THE ONLY THING Politicians like Satan LIEberman care about is getting Rich
It should be pretty clear that the people in Afghanistan do not want a centralized government. They should have the right to choose their own form of government.
yes it needs a new honest government but so do we. maybe we should bring the troops home and then fix our broken system before we send foreign aid and try to help them with elections. We already failed them with the previous election
who are "they", love how people put out that word and then not back it up with fact like "they" are real. Sorry but "they" are not all the people there but "they" are a small group of people who hate the USA for a lot of reasons, even some good ones.
It's time to just bring the boys home and stop fighting a useless war. Until you do that nothing will get any better. The USA needs to have those soldiers home to look after it's own mess now.
I wish more would quit. Let them use their mercenary force to fight their overseas interest and give us back our boys. Then we the people and the military can take this country back. Then when the mercenaries come we will have a sufficient force to put them down too.
As a result of the indemnity and the KBR subsidiary's criminal plea, Halliburton has agreed to pay in eight installments over the next two years $382 million of $402 million in criminal fines payable by KBR as part of KBR's resolution of the DOJ investigation, with KBR consenting to pay the remaining $20 million.
The DOJ investigation was resolved with respect to Halliburton with a non-prosecution agreement in which the DOJ agreed not to bring FCPA or bid coordination-related charges against Halliburton, and in which Halliburton agreed to continue to cooperate with the DOJ's ongoing investigation and to refrain from and self-report certain FCPA violations. That agreement does not provide for a monitor.
that was the past administration. obama has been president for almost a year now. he can stop this if he wants. cheney is still giving orders in the white house. it is obvious. it is the anglophile network. Domination Death Deception. works every time on the barbarians.
too bad - Obama can not rescind legally the contract signed by bush/cheney for good ole halliburton - not unless they can prove malice. and the 161 congressmen and senate that hold stocks - will screw us. Yeah republicans yeah fuck us some more.
so why dont you just prove malice? you focus on the republicans too much. you just have no idea the power and scope of the anglophile network and their military combine.
The only ones who want this to continue are the defense corporations. I do not believe the propaganda of the news organizationa anymore. 2 weeks ago statistics showed that the american people wanted us to get out and now the statistics show they want more troups sent - and where are they going to find people to volunteer? Well you can always throw them on unemployment and take away their insurance. We are so conned.
This was planned years ago. It's all about invading and occupying the whole region. Poppy fields in Afghanistan. Oil in Iraq. The US taxpayers have built a $145M+ embassy in Baghdad Iraq, plus countless US military bases. Pakistan? Iran? China and Russia are backing Iran. WW3 is headed our way via Israel.
Obama wants this to continue. it is the good war according to him. the right war. a war of necessity. he isnt about to cut off the profits to his buddies in the corporate world. believe it.
Lest you forget - Halliburton, an oil field services company, a war profiteer. Former Vice President Dick Cheney was once chief executive of Halliburton. During Cheneys tenure Halliburton did business with Iran. Before that, it paid fines in the 1990s for the business it did with Libya and Iraq. While Cheney was vice president, Halliburton won no-bid contracts from the U.S. government for the Iraq war
if stangers came here, kicked in our doors at 0300 rifeled threw out shit, frisked our grand parents, fucked up traffic, ruined our water and electrical infra structure in areas that we had it, shot at our animals, overflew our houses and rattled the raffters would we sit on our asses and wave nice to them on the street? No
Now say they showed up here and fixed our schools built wind towers, gave us free medical, never showed a weapon, and protected us, we still would not trust them? No.
Our own country is falling apart and the government has the nerve to occupy and screw up another country... no body wins in Afganistan, never have. Only (future)losers occupy that country

Don't fight a battle if you don't gain anything by winning.
Erwin Rommel
If by some miracle the sandbox war is won, what are the benefits of winning ?
After 8 years (sounds like Vietnam) you could send in a million troops without a clear benefit the war is being fought for nothing.

Great post.
The war is most definetly over now.
The question is whats the best way to get out.
There will never be a unified state in afghanistan.
The secular onslaught of NATO must stop. It is useless. They have totally exagerated the situation.
