I'm not sure exactly why I loved that game so much, but I played the crap out of it. As generic as the music might seem, for some reason I loved it. The thing even had a nifty livery editor and damage modeling.
The cars, while not officially licensed, were actually real branded cars. The one you were driving in the video was Type LD. LD stands for Lancia Delta. The other one with the whale fin spoiler was called Type ES, which was a ford EScort. If you look carefully on the car, you can see the ford logo on the side.

Really good game, thanks for so long longplay.
Not only N64 also Gameboy Color version (Top Gear Rally 2) is great, its my fav game for GBC

if at 2:09 you drive touching the right wall, and steer to the left you will have a speed bust, im not kidding (sorry my english is poor)

My favorite track is jungle and i can do that stage on Type-PS Whit slippy wheel type whitout crashin :) im so happy to can do that
