  • And this is why the rest of the world hates us

  • What kind of shit is this

  • What a waste of a fine automobile. This car could have been restored. Or at least been a great parts car. Crushing American history for a penny...way to go!

  • may god strike them with lighting.

  • stupid peoples

  • the guy with the beard has an anger issue

  • not a ford guy seems foolish to crush it though

  • I DONT UNDERSTAND SCRAP OWNERS They got 100$ value for metal and they crush it with something that have less value than the car itself.

  • I could cry..........could barely stand to watch.

  • at the end of the day, its only going to make the the remaining ones more valuble...

  • 59 Ford had a 9 inch rear. It by it's self would have brought 125 $ here. All that good - hard -to - find glass, another 200$. All that straight chrome, Another 125. Scrap 100$ bucks. Doesn't make good sense does it. Heck, Those fenders 100 bucks. What a shame.

  • what a f are they doing dont crush ford 500

  • REMEMBER don't crush'em restore'em

  • sickening....

  • Luckily the local scrap place pulls mostly complete cars to the side, there was a really nice 50 ford coupe there for about a week and a half that i would have got but didn't have any money (I hope it went to a good home). This is a freaking waste of a nice car, what is going through the guys mind that is opperating the crusher?

  • that was a perfectly good car it had strait body pannels and all! what a shame!

  • @1988fordranger4x4 Yes such a shame to see people destroy good old cars.

Cars like the Ford in the video can you sell to people, who restore them. I think that's much better instead of crushing them. We must save history, in 60 years nobody would know how good the cars in the years 1960,1970,... were. In my opinion, the old cars were a kind of art, I mean look at the chrom, the details. The new cars are made with no love, technology is the most important thing, the rest of the car is plastic.

  • Fawking moron.

  • that was a perfectly restorable car!!! all the glass was there and not very much rust. dumbasses, whoseever idea it was to do this... I am a classic car aficionado myself.

  • The rear end in that thing would have brought $350 easy.

  • Soooooo Saaaaaad Such a waste of American Heritage

  • motherfuciers I collect old cars and they are part of history

  • greedy fucking scrapers. all they care about is making a few dollars. if i had a car like that, i would give it for free to someone rather than crush it and sell the metal....the metal will just sit around in the yard for a long time anyway so how do they expect that this will make them money?

  • These fucking piece of shit SCRAPPERS DESTROY HISTORY TO FEED THE CHINESE! these faggots need to get real jobs. THIS HAS TO BE OUTLAWED. I will PRAY EACH NIGHT THESE SCRAPPERS DIE A HORRIBLE DEATH OF CANCER AND AIDS OR CRUSH THEMSELVES!

  • an guy i know bought 2 56 buicks to restore , into one nice one, he got tired of the project an sent them to the crusher, i guess they crush so many they just do not care, he did try to sell them for what he had paid , 600.00 but no takers, i would have got them but i got my yard loaded now, but no cool old stuff will go to a crusher, an 59 edsel man is absolutly correct about 4 dr cars

  • was the poke at 1:24 really necessary ?

  • It's a Galaxie 500 too. But, the demise of this car can be contributed to the fact that it is a 4 DOOR SEDAN, and all the collectors and restorers want the HARDTOPS and CONVERTABLES. The sedans, most of the time, are not worth restoring, because they don't have much value when they are sold. Still, sad....

  • if you see a guy watching this and owns a honda you have every right to beat the shit out of him

  • @arcobot What a waste. Perfectly good car wasted. That's America for ya.

  • NOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Unfucking real! This car has a better body than most that are getting restored. What is the matter with society? Has everyone gone mad?

  • I got as far as 6 seconds & had to stop! The body looked nice, the guy in the forklift and the asshole idiot standing there should be shot! Why would anyone scrap a car for a few $100 rather than sell it for a few $1000?

  • theres a 59 ford just like this in a scrap yard by me all the trim is there, it is as complete as they get its a two door, 6 cyl, rust free, no dents or collision damage glass is good 53,000 miles, paint is a ok repaint but looks good from a few feet away, motor turns over and everything and they wont sell it, i looks like someone started fixing it up (new plug wires and radiator hoses) i dont know why its there or why they wont sell it, its so close to being driveable and there gunna chush it

  • wtf??????

  • I'm watching this and saying are you kidding me! I love these old fords and from what we could see of this car's condtion was that it had quite a head start already for someone to restore it. I'd rather see a brand new jetta or hyundai go in the crusher for sure.

  • Unbelieveble! Here in Europe we restore compleetly rusted out shels because of lack of good ones. An look what's crushed here. That's a dream car for us Europeans! Even cars long stored in barns are in worse shape overhere!!!

  • Money hungry fools too lazy to really make the money ( sell the parts, restore etc.)

  • Some people should go into the crusher too.

  • and that my freinds, is how to break into someones trunk

  • Comment removed

  • that car could og been restoreed

  • You´re crazy... you can´t do this I can´t understand

THIS IS A GREAT AMERICAN PIECE

  • wtf?!?!?! that just made me pissed off......

  • In years to come there will be a public outcry in the states and questions of where did all our automotive history go? The answer is in the crushers and shipped to buyers overseas in one form or another.

If you don't like this happening then it's up to the public to get politicians to make laws to protect them just like some old historic houses are protected.

  • shame on you ! no idea of history,

i think this car was a good platform to restore -.-

  • @playazZ001 you got that right. To bad it wasnt a Hyundia or Kia.

  • @playazZ001 This was my reaction the hole video:"Aww...What! awwww...awww Fuck!" It was all fucking there! most beautiful classic restoration project ever! Had no rust at all it looked like! What a fucking dick ass move for this person just for money!

  • I can understand this if #1, it was beyond repair, #2 the parts like windows were all reused or #3, it was a parts car and it was all chopped to hell. This right here, this should be a crime. and I mean a jailable crime.

  • Are they crazy or just really rich????? Put the whole car on ebay if you want it out of there or part it out in Hemmings and other publications ad fair prices; those cars would sell for ten times what you got in scrap!!!

  • a very good car was crushed -.-

  • Read the descriptian. he says its nearly complete and rust free. Yet they crushed it.

  • what a disgraceful waste!!!!!!

  • NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!

  • You call that "rust free"? Perhaps you should be described as "vision free".

  • That was a really nice rust free car, and that rear bumper looked nice! hope you enjoyed getting the $300 bucks for it.....could have got that out of a fender.....

  • This makes me sick

  • this guys have no sense for history and oldtimer this guys should go to hell!!

I hate this american way destroy all old things >:(

  • Such a beautiful car....

  • Saddest part was that tail light lens was probably worth more than what they got for scraping it.

  • If the car coldn't be restored, than it could have been saved for parts.

  • WTF! That car did NOT deserve to be crushed!! It couldve easily been restored!

Have the yanks gone f'kin crazy?? Or has Obama become a freakin dictator?!

    Shame on ya Muthafcukers!!

  • So freakin sad.

  • complete assholes destroying a complete ford, why impede the restoration of such goodies? What's this hate about? Let the ones wanting to preserve do their thing...

  • this is really hard to watch =(

  • that was such a straight looking car too!

  • probably had a rare Nodular iron ford 9in in it....im looking for one and that would be my luck.

  • I've watched a few of these Evil Santa on the crusher with cousin Bobby on the forks but, I gotta say, crushing this one was an extreme act of ignorance on someones part. There is no way the scrap value of this car exceeded what it could have been sold for, with or without registration. Dave, for the love of our sanity, the next time this happens, slips some sleeping pills in their hooch & call the cavalry to save these things. ): RIP American Classic Cars :(

  • That car still had a lot of good parts. The body even looked good. TSK TSK!!

  • this vid makes me sick if you ever crush a mopar ill cut your balls off

  • A little piece of me just died.

  • ewwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww

  • A piece of american history, and what do they do.... crush it, and i live in ireland

  • What idiots. That thing had a pile of valuable parts. Just the rear axle assembly would be double what they'd get for the whole car in scrap. I tell ya, the scrapper mentality is that if they had a Brinks truck full of gold they'd leave the gold in for extra weight.

  • This is exactly why the rest of the world laughs at us and calls us the disposable society. How much room could it have possibly taken up anyways.

  • This one is brutal. That car was VERY saveable, however no one stepped up to the plate. Shit, this is why I want to have my own property and just collect these old junkers...save them from the crusher and sell them to restorers/collectors.

  • i would to ahve old car like that

  • That could have been restored.

  • wtf.

  • What a pair of Dickheads

  • I wish I could meet the operator of this & any other one who ever crushed a rare American relic & bash his skull in with my crowbar.

  • It hurts seeing a classic die......they should be restored and preserved

  • This makes me want to cry, like seeing an old friend die. Many good parts could have been saved from this. DON'T CRUSH 'EM, RESTORE 'EM!.... PLEASE!

  • Another reason I Don't like amerikans always wasting everything wasteful society!!!! The body was mint on that thing WTF

  • i cant watch this shit

  • that's what i call destroying the little bit of american dream that's left

  • if you have any camaros chevelles chargers challengers lemme know ill buy any muscle cars like that

  • f*****g sad !!

  • A pair of morons if they had half a brain they would have put it out front with a for sale sign, I guess they would have to no how to spell but If I was driving past a scrape yard and saw it I would stop, here in Australia you would get around $3,000 for that Ford

  • This makes me cry!!!! God Where has USA gone Wrong Fck Cash For Clunkers Piss on Obama and his brother the midleeasts !! fuk Bush and his daddy! with there tyes to the OIL! where is the Back Bone of The U.S.A GONE????? Wal Mart!!! Is owned by China or vise versa!!! Who knows???? WE Need The United States Of America BACK!!!! Piss on the other countrys lets deal with just USA!!!

OK now Im said that , Ill be in jail LOL thanks to a non citizan president Obama thats is ruled by mideast

  • @ljnks1967 i know what u mean i see things like this and i just feel so sick as to where america is heading.i have restored a few classics my self and hard to find parts are very appreciated. some even restorable cars r hard to get a hold of.but i understand where your coming from.

  • bad mistake...bad

  • Shit.... locked my damn keys in the trunk

  • FUCK RECYCLAGE

  • Should crush the crusher operator and the forklift an driver then the cameraman for watching .. ya know what ya coulda sold if not the whole car but the parts on ebay for ......BUT METAL FOR MORE CAMRYS IS MORE IMPORTANT HERE IN AMERICA

  • =( in 2010 is so stupid..here in Europe peoples buy this amercan cars for a lot of money..

  • FUCKING FAGGET ASS PUSSYS!!!

HOW ABOUT I CRUSH YOUR FUCKING SKULLS FOR DESTROYING THOSE BEAUTIFUL RIDES!!!

YOU WOULDNT LIKE THAT YOU COCK SUCKERS

  • Love it!

    getting a boner lol

  • @DINKENSPIEL FUCK YOU PUSSY

  • OMG. I think I'm going to be sick now. That car only need wheels and a quarter patch. :(

  • u are crushing history finking asshole

  • they are absoluty sick in the brain....

crusched the new fuckin plasticcars but not the fantastic old cars

  • why they don't sell those rare cars on ebay?

  • @bullibene1 People sometimes dont want to wait for a buyer and deal with the selling process, especially on a car that needs a resto....some people just want the instant money of scrap. Its a HUGE shame, but thats why if you see an old junker sitting around ASK ABOUT IT just because it doesnt say "for sale" doesnt mean its not, you just might save it from this fate.

  • to whoever works at this scrapyard

    FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCK. YOOOOOOOOOOOOOU.

  • built for tough!! the side windows didnt even break when the fork lift pushed it in...What a waste

  • that was a waste of a good car my 23yr old son has one engine has all been restored but need alot of body work that he can't afford right now and to see the body on that on was in better shape then his 1959 ford fairlane

  • The glass is strong for an old car

  • Damm They could have made alot more money by placing it on e-bay or parting it out selling it on e-bay or the net than just the scrap metal this is crasy great parts car or a resto project all rare glass intacked ,trim ,bumbers, chrome glass trim damm what a shame. :::shakes head ::::::::

  • That's not bad...It'll buff out.

  • I`m from Spain and I say "destroy modern cars, not those jewels!!".

  • Ths car lasted 50 years without to much rust damage. AND THOSE IDIOTS DESTROY IT IN A FEW SECONDS!!!

  • @SaveOldCars good point

  • As much as I hate seeing this the owner of the scrapyard is free to do as he pleases with the cars. Maybe this is a new owner who doesn't see the classic car value but instead land to put a mall or subdivision on that's my guess. Now I'll log off and go sit in the corner and cry.

  • I can't even watch this, look at ALL THOSE good PARTS !!!!

  • Way to go dumb shit nice job crushing that classic american iron. P.S. I hope you get cancer

  • Poor car

  • WARNING: This video has graphic car crushing not sutable for any carlovers.

  • they should scrap the people who turn in these cars !

  • @Giordino These poor retarded people, you know whats the the worst thing? they open the trunk to see if there is anything of value and the got an old tire then crushed the car,

  • why?

  • aw...you could do something else with it instead of crushing the old ford! =(

  • it brakes my heart... i have a lightblue 59' Custom 300 2 door...

  • These 59 ford are one of the best looking Fords I hate this pair of morons, Its just plain stupidity

  • these pople are just stupid. restore em, dont crush em.

  • @TheJrfannascar good word you are spot on

  • that hurts!

  • What a complete waste! Two pin headed idiots in this vid!!

  • Yep a pair of meat heads that have no idea.I wish I hadnt seen this it made my guts turn. why would't you keep it a while you could get at least triple the scrap money

  • I fucking hate Fords - but this is just stupid

  • What other cars do you have? I'm in Washington, but you already crushed the 1964 Cadillac which I could have used parts from since I'm probably going to buy one this weekend.

  • i can just puke seeing this,,,what a bunch of assholes ...can i crush your toyota ???

  • i HATE the people that did this. It just shows how some people can hate amercia an take away its history for some money

  • sorry that was a harsh comment I made -- I know you probably did your best to get these things sold.. Its the same here I drive by the salvage yards and see cars that should not be there .. but you cant save them all ..

  • are you insane ??? way to go !! buy more Japanese i guess ??

  • Wasn't my choice to crush these cars. I did manage to get the word out, so many of the best cars were bought and saved for parts/restoration... but a few good ones remained. Oh well!

  • omg i bought a 59 ford fairlane from there and im restoring it .maybe ill send you pics

  • Really? I am restoring a '60 Impala that I dragged out of this field.

  • thats cool watching old cars like this being crushed just sucks

  • @nostalgicdave why wouldn't you put that car up for sale? or sell it for parts?

  • @nostalgicdave I dont see the point in crushing irreplacable classics if they are still saveable!

  • @nostalgicdave keep dragging more dude! not just one! save as many as you can!

  • @nostalgicdave what a waste all the good memories gone gone someone

  • @nostalgicdave what a waste all the good memories gone someone

  • @nostalgicdave apparently you like destroying beautiful american history or else you wouldn't have put these videos up.

i mean i know its your job but, honestly why do you have to torture us classic car fanatics by putting these videos up?

  • @nostalgicdave - But it is your choice to simply crush everything without making any attempt to salvage some of the classic parts. the three mustings you guys just wasted had several parts that could have been marketed to Mustang colletors. Look at the tail light cover on this 1959 Ford -- along with the chrome pieces. Does this not break your own heart to crush these classics...along with many potential parts for the restorers out there?

  • @nostalgicdave -- "Oh well" -- love that committment there! The Ford crushed in this video could have EASILY been restored and could have EASILY made you some money, had you had the vision and dedication to restore it. You just crushed and scrapped break light covers, bend back window, authentic bumpers and many pieces that restorers would kill to won as extras for their 1959 Fords. your excuse for turing this into trash is extremely weak...and very sad.
