I know ghetto when I see it. I've seen them in the States, Russia, and Germany. Canada's "ghettos" are nothing compared to those others. @coyle7789 I live in Cleveland and know exactly what you mean. I worked in a warehouse in a semi-dangerouse part of Cleveland. The stupid lil ghetto boys would shoot at people who were outside on a smoke break. They'd never actually try to shoot you, they just wanted to shoot near you to scare you a little bit. I can't tell you how many times I've been shot at, or a co-worker got mugged, stabbed, or shot while walking ACROSS THE STREET to the little arab convenience store.

I know a lot more about Canada than you might think. I've been through the "ghetto" areas of Toronto. The only things I saw were some low-income housing and the only black people in Toronto.

@wikkidie It was clean, safe, there were trees and grass, glass was in all the windows, nothing was tagged, there were no gunshots, no screams, the police sirens weren't constantly blaring, nothing was on fire, there were no crackheads, no one slingin' dope, and no gangs of any kind. I felt safer in Toronto than I ever did in Cleveland, Detroit, and NYC.

@lifesfinallgoodagain there's trees and grass in every city you go to....chicago is cleaner than toronto and it has a higher violent crime rate than cleveland and NYC...if you haven't seen anything tagged than you never walked in the back areas of queen st. or walked around sherbourne or parliament cuz everything is tagged over there...sirens actually ARE constantly blaring but that's because toronto is a huge city with lots going on...

@wikkidie All I saw in Toronto's "ghettos" were some minorities and cheap housing. Those two qualities do not make a place ghetto. However, the FIRST group of qualities I listed do. I know ghetto when I see it. I've seen them in the States, Russia, and Germany. Canada's "ghettos" are nothing compared to those others. YOU don't know as much about this as you think you do and you need to travel a little bit to broaden your perspective. Canada is like the Disney version of real countries.

Canada is built a lot differently than the United States where there is a little less segregation but we have our low income housing, our discrimination, and our other problems. All the things that you've mentioned you never saw, are very present.

This is too funny! My building's in one one these pictures and it's not ghetto at all. There's no area in the GTA I would feel uneasy in.
I'm assuming a teenager posted this video because an adult would know that there's nothing cool about a ghetto, poverty is pretty wack.
