How fucked up is socialism, look at the cars the East Germans were driving, they looked like something out of a 1960's movie.

Imagine being forced to drive old shit while a borderline to the west is driving luxury Jaguars, BMW's & Mercedes.

No wonder they had to build a wall to keep them in, who'd want to live under socialism, not me.

they may have had shitty cars under socialism but at least they had a job. Unemployment is now %13+ in the former East Germany.

two more things I remember, cars burning of cars in the countryside and in east berlin we were lost so I looked for lites and this way I found west berlin. you could barely see one block the emissons was so bad BUT the people were friendly.

we were here maybe two months later, thought this area was alittle better than the rest of east germany and also the road in this area.
