I like Rudy. He is as honest and open as you will find in politics. I disagree with him on abortion and gay rights but I would vote for him if he got the nod because he understands economics (ie; tax cuts) and the war on terror (ie; Islamic extremists). Umm... because it's their native language? Just because you can't read it doesn't mean that people who were raised on it can't either. I took two years of Arabic at the local mosque. It's not that hard to script or read. Also... Arabic gets shrunken down on YouTube. That wasn't the user's choice... you forget that font size is not static... it changes. Are you nuts!! When the fire fighters come out against old Rudy for his handling of 9/11, then you got to ask yourself who the hell will he keep safe. He give a no bid contact to get those new radios for fire fighters, which untested didn't work on 9/11. 9/11 was allowed cause to go to war in afganistan and iraq. it sounds rediculous until you start looking at the evidence. the most powerful "defense" department in the world failed to protect it's airspace above washington AN HOUR AFTER wtc attacks... the result was a huge increase in it's budget.

What has Rudy ever done to fight terrorists? Put NYC's emergency command center in the one place that had been attacked by terrorists before? So he was mayor of NYC during 9/11. Big deal. That doesn't mean he's able to fight terrorism.

giuliani is a savy politcal opportunist who has no respect for the constitution. his primary interest is becoming president...you're fooling yourself if you think any of these tax cuts benefitted the average new yorker. the success of the republican party is based on it's ability to convince citizens that their tax cuts for the rich are some how good for the working class.
