  • It's so funny how he pretended to be sensitive to cigarette smoke in so many of his films and we ALL no he loved his tokes...

  • the captains name is Foster Brooks, he is famous for his drunk impersonation!! look him up!!

  • OMG this is funny. I don't know why this movie got panned so bad some of these scenes are hilarious.

  • I love it when the Captain talks to the lower deck.

  • LOL, at least they serve food and give the passengers in coach a chance to catch a bite to eat. lol

  • At 3:52 it the British Airways Cabin Staff!!XD

  • The best drunk man, the pilot I see in my life.

  • who plays the stewardess

  • who plays the stewardess (air hostes, in the parlance of our times)?

  • The title was changed to "Cracking Up" so late that when the characters go to see this movie, the marquee of the theater still has the original title "Smorgasbord".

  • this film, i bet, is even funnier........on drugs. i've never seen this jerry lewis film. for some reason i keep thinking about mel brooks. anyway, any film with the great foster brooks is a winner.

  • OMG. It's US Airways.

  • More like Ryanair!!XD

  • this reminds me of those klingon warships

  • The airport security guard trying to sell him a gun. Ha, that's even more hilarious today!

  • I vividly remember the "movie" scene because it has so many great back and forth punchlines (1. the movie's a flip book, 2. it's x-rated, 3. she still asks if he wants to see it again, 4. he already has it on tape). You could stop it at any point and it would still work as a joke, yet it keeps going.

  • check the scene @ 3.5 and you will see it's just plane frame.

Leave it be, it's not a documentary.

  • around the 1:25 mark, the camera focus drops back to a wide shot and a little too far as you can see the where the fusilage set ends at the top of the frame...

c'mon Jerry, you should have seen that one!

  • slighthly funny then, flown on american airlines lately.everything but the gun thank god...

  • I'm sure that grenade effect sent them over budget

  • This scene is especially hilarious considering Jerry's recent arrest at an airport for gun possession.

And by hilarious, I mean genocidically awful.

  • is the man with the grenade on the plane Buddy Lester?

  • they need to add the opening credits, with the slick vinyl furniture and the waxed floor.

  • smorgusboard

  • Jerry needs to make another film.

  • He really should-he's hilarious

  • The pilot is the late great Foster Brooks

  • I laughed so hard at this! Jerry is hilarious!

  • hehehehe....cool scene lol

  • JOLLY FATS WEEHAWKIN

  • the pilot was foster brooks i think...right?

  • The capt steals the scene. that is the best drunk impersonation I have ever seen

  • I love Jerry´s face when he sees the "movie". My old and funny Jerry. I LOVE him!!!

  • Better that "Hardly Working" ?(1980)

  • much better.

  • This is the last "pure" Jerry Lewis movie -- written, starred and directed by The King of Comedy, himself. Although flawed, this is a funny, funny flick!
