  • I could listen to the outro on this song for days..

  • I wish there was an instrumental for this jam, love this song. magic..

    PR all day.

  • 0 dislikes...that's sayin something

  • Peace to all the PeteROCK fans around the world!

I think it's extremely humble (and astute) that Pete gave CL the best beat on this album! He's not the best MC... but anything sounds good on a PeteRock instrumental.

    Respect from SYDNEY, Australia.

  • Pete Rock and CL Smooth two peas in a pod, peanut butter and jelly,

Sick beats and rhymes to fill your belly

  • JUST 2...

  • This song I can roll to!!!!!

  • Is it just me or does Pete rock and common have similar voices

  • Pete is a true icon of hip hop. wish i would have really pushed him to give me a shot when i met him.

  • YESSSSSSS !!!!!!!!

  • yea its hard for the Gods to shine for some reason the masses behind the scene is scared because they dont want us in those powerful positions. This whole albulm is fucking incredible. My name is Olori Manns and i had the privelage to meet the God on a few occasions and it was a blessing. My new album "Revenge of the Musik" is coming soon and its dedicated to the Gods like Pete Rock and the real music lovers. Who knows maybe after this one he might be willing to work with mw....ishAllah

  • These two brothers need to dead the bull$hit and put it back together!!!

  • @soln4suhreborn New album coming soon from Pete Rock & C.L. Smooth in 2011!

  • @MyJunior1975 but their last aalbum was a big disapointment

  • @djpio707 I gotta disagree with you on that. "The Main Ingredient" was a classic from beginning to end.

  • @MyJunior1975 Absolutely....Main Ingredient is one of the best hip hop albums.....I sitll listen to that 3 times a week. Classic

  • @soln4suhreborn This year, they announced it

  • No diggity no doubt

  • This is true art

  • I can listen to this all day. Like one of the comments I read recently on a pete rock video, "the good music is hidden for people who digs for it".

  • CL STATED HIS CLAIM!!

  • REAL HIPHOP HEAD HERE PETE ROCK ONE OF DA ILLEST HANDS DOWN! CHECK HIS BEATS CLASSICS JAZZY STYLE WIT OLD SCHOOL SAMPLES

  • 1) Jay Dee

    2) Pete Rock

    3) Preemo

    4) Madlib

    5) Black Milk or Nujabes (can't decide here)

  • @XxXxLETHALXxXx REST IN PEACE TO JAY DEE AND NUJABES!!!!!

  • @XxXxLETHALXxXx nobody can beat the master

rock was an influence 4 JD

  • @XxXxLETHALXxXx

    1) Premiere & Jay Dee

    2) Pete Rock

    3) Q-TIP

    4) Extra P

    5) RZA

  • @TheSinghFIRE

    1. DJ Premier

    2. Marley Marl

    3. Pete Rock

    4. Large Professor (Extra P)

    5. RZA

  • @canibusnj lol its dope to see Marley getting credit. how the blood did i forget him.

  • @TheSinghFIRE word, dilla, primo and pr are the top 3, i hate seein people without dilla in their top. hes the illest.

  • @kennywu2k10 most deff man, Dilla was literally unreal with his- i mean if Pete Rock can say Jay Dee took it to another level from what he was doing is one hell of a complement. Even RZA said that J-Dilla is the only person who could have 'taken the torch' from him. thats love lol. but still his beats are incredible, probs the greatest drum programmer to ever live. ill rep for tht guy whenever.

  • @TheSinghFIRE lol q-tip doesnt produce any good beats if so name one.

  • @tomwatson1 well, chain heavy was pretty dope and that's my bitch is funky as hell. you must be one hell of a stupid motherfucker not to think Q-Tip is one of the best to do it. and your comment can be applied to Jay Dee, he doesnt make beats any more (for the obvious reason).

  • @TheSinghFIRE nah that was a terrbile beat... try again dude... which songs? nah qtip is lame, most of tribes best song were produced by jdilla u just dont know

  • @tomwatson1 you actually are incredibly stupid, Jay Dee came into the whole ATCQ field in 1995. he started to produce for beats, rhymes and life. Whilst a tribe called quest's best albums were Midnight Marauders, Low End Theory and People Instinctive Travels..., so i beg to differ when you say 'most of tribes best song were produced by jdilla'. you seriously must not be familiar with Hip-Hop to think q-tip is lame. lol, q-tip was ahead of alot of producers back in the day.

  • @TheSinghFIRE rofl, so your saying that q-tip is, was ahead of "alot" of producers? lol and you said im stupid? rofl kid

  • @TheSinghFIRE da foo dont know what hes talking about.

  • @kambridge967 no doubt, the brother is confused.

  • @tomwatson1 you say q-tip is lame? hahaha!!! your a joke q- tip is one of the best producers of all times. and tribes best beats was produced by q-tip!!!

  • @kambridge967 tribes best beat is find a way also there best song, produced by jdilla.

  • @tomwatson1 thats your opinion but ATCQ have got classics like Award Tour, Check The Rhime, Lyrics to Go, We Can Get Down and Electric Relaxation. find a way is dope, but the others are classics.

  • @TheSinghFIRE "find a way is dope, but the others are classics" just proving my point that the best song was produced by jdilla.

  • @tomwatson1 ignorant shit, there is a huge difference between dope and classics, for example, Award Tour is a Classic, timeless shit, but Find A Way is just dope, not a classic. Like the other Jay Dee produced stuff like The Light and Fall N Love, they are classics, Find A Way is not in their league even though its still dope.

  • @XxXxLETHALXxXx No it's not. Music is all a matter of taste. Geez...

  • @DDeDokter Wow I don't even remember I left that comment smh.

  • @XxXxLETHALXxXx Haha no problem lol

  • oh boy, this shit is soooo timeless! hip hop we know is DEAD but i`d rather listen to every old record i have instead of listening to 90% of these bullshit-plastic-rappers out there! sure, there are some bangs today but they can`t create the feeling of joints like these. they`re timeless! bow down to legens like pete rock & premier. where would i be without them?!

  • Finally we got the best to ever do it on a Pete Rock track, CL Smooth. I'm glad they gave us two classic LP' back in the day. This joint is another one to their timeless collection.
