bravo... very well done... explanation of 3d... 2 different images (but the EXACT same scene) are combined into 1 thus making the mind to see 3d... like look at ur hand... better explained (crosseyed), the 2 different angle look at the left image, it is actually the right the "right" image is the left which if u see that the left PART of it has more view of the left. the "left" has more view for the right... merged with not so good definition make hd 3d :)... sorry for unclear explaination..
actually it was the full N3D. It's just the screenshot feature of it. Youtube then converts it to anaglyph 3d. But yes your right this could be done using 3D discover. In fact I first tried the discover and loved it so much that I bought the screen and glasses. This was simply the easiest way I thought I could show how it looks to people without N3D :)
aah gotcha. i did the same as you, 'discover' 1st then screen/ glasses. best thing i ever got for the pc. bioshock 2 (post processing turned off - 3D laser sight turned on) is superb, as is tomb raider underworld and loads of others. only problem is i am gaming too much and getting little else done. lol.
It was certainly one of my best purchases. I may just have to try Bioshock 2 then as per your recommendation :)
Thing is my 9800gx2 is a little slow when doing 3d vision... Just trying to hold out till the 480 is released. Have you tried Audiosurf? For $5 its amazing in 3D.
Damnitt, it was on there! Great, now I'm gonna look like one of those 'tards who don't factcheck before commenting! Don't have my machine with me in this country, but look for an output device option like "side by side" maybe? Failing that, there's quite a few hits on google for "nVidia drivers cross eyed" (Personally, I've never tried it: I either use use an eMagin Z800 for stereo gaming, which is really VERY sexy; or some wired eDimensionals)
they can't? are you kidding me?? i read a review about nvidia 3d vision and they said they played crysis with it and that its kinda cool... so how can you play crysis with just pics?
ah ok that makes sense... someone should develop a tool to record it... are you using red/cyan glasses or the cool shutter ones?
when u use the shutter ones, and if your computer is able to record with full 120fps, you could split the video later and put every second frame in its own sequence... kinda messy but should work.
I keep getting told i need to enable stereo view. How do i do this? Please help

This is very nice. Too bad the shadows don't render in 3D correctly.

I love how the HUD actually looks flat against the screen; it just enhances the depth effect of things behind it.

iz3d provides cross eye viewing of games even if you dont have a special monitor or 3d glasses
Gokumarathon 2 years ago
Yup, nVidia drivers provide for viewing in cross eye mode, which is exactly what you need to record in for youtube. Try it! :)
xyzzy02 2 years ago
how would I set this up? I've looked at the control panel and couldn't see any "cross eye" mode.

the 3d vision drivers can't take video :(
(yet atleast)

multimolti 2 years ago
lol. Not what I meant is you cannot record 3d video (like you record 2d with fraps).
To take a screenshot in 3d you do alt+f1.
What I see on the screen is video so yes I can play crysis in 3d.
Sry for not being clear.

multimolti 2 years ago
I use the proper shutter ones.
You idea sounds good although i don't know of anything (software) that would record at 120fps.
I might try fraps and see if it renders the frames seperate but the problem is my fps is already lowered by the 3d effect.
stevyd10 2 years ago
do you know if it works with magenta and green glasses?
Diegog5 2 years ago
nvidia drivers do not provide with the correct outputs for recording video.
In order to record video, you'd need some other 3D drivers like iZ3D or DDD drivers, that provide with the left and right views side by side.
