I hate touch screen keyboard , I had an android using for few months , I was always piss off using that. I have a regular phone m with keyboard , I can text fast and make call so fast. I Love tecnology , but , touch screen phone is not for me.

If it's just how the keyboards work, that's fine, your methods, pauses, and movements make sense, but if it's speed, you're well below the average user and it would be better passed off to someone else to compare.

So all you have to do is press the center box once for every word for the whole message. It learns your typing style. Can you tell me that swype is faster than one tap for a word?

Both keyboards are very useful. Depending on your typing style and preference, either will aid in typing over the standard touch type. I tend to use Swype over Swiftkey so I'm slightly biased. The video is not a great representation of it. Just for kicks, I typed out the same message on my phone using Swype and was able to stay ahead of both examples. Use each for a brief amount of time and choose which works best for you.

..the word you'd like to input and wallah the word is entered. Continue on to the next word without the pausing if one would like and no spaces needed as well. If you're reasonably close to the word that you would like to have entered, the pop up menu that continuously showed up on this video is kept to a minimum. Added bonus the Swype stores the words that it doesn't have in it's database forgoing the need to type it ever again. Just swipe it the next time
Absolutely ridiculous reviewer. The number of times the guy pressed the space bar on swype when it isn't necessary is dumb. Also observe that he isn't even trying to be accurate with a fair amount of the words that were typed on swype, bringing up the necessity to make a choice from the pop up menu.
Guys I'm not sure about the Swiftkey because I've never used it, but Swype is a lot more intuitive than then video poster is making it out to be.
ok this guy is terrible. I think swype is faster if you know exactly what you want to say and you can spell perfectly but swiftkey gives you more time to think and it corrects your spelling faster. I find swype is almost a bit pressurizing at times. I cant decide which i prefer i swap back and forth all the time :P

@daverave999 No, you do NOT have to press the space button each time with Swype. It automatically adds a space when you input the next word. This guy lost a lot of time with that.

Swype style keyboards are amazing but to be really good with them it takes time.
SwiftKey learns your writing style and becomes quicker the more you use it.
Both keyboards are 10x faster than this guy. Just preference and how much you use it.
