Thiis coming from someone who owns multiple AK's, At that range and twice that, the AK can hit that plate every time with a good shooter... the "myth" of Inaccurate AK's comes from its use in full auto, its large heavy carrier throwing the gun around during rapid fire, I'm semi auto mode it will hit damn near anything you aim at within 300 meters with the right shooter.
i guess you forgot a 7.62 barely makes 300 meters and thats why we use the 5.56 . not to mention the plate carriers we have now can barely, if lucky, stop a 7.62 so why should we use a bullet if we cant even stop it?
your kidding right? 7.62X51 is the standard .308, Max eff. range 900 meters and match will go 1k. the ak is the 7.62x39 max eff. range 600 meters ( gun will not shoot accurately past 250 - 300 without mods.) Milled recievers ( not seeing how they can help accuracy.) 5.56 = standard .223 round. max eff. 500 - 700 meters any further, the round goes transonic and starts to tumble. SAPI plates will stop a 7.62x54r and below. it will be like a sledgehammer hitting you in the chest, but you will live.

You all seem to forget that this is an AK-47. The US Army has had them since they first captured them in Vietnam (40 years ago!). This isn't real. They've been testing the AK-47 and its rounds against body armor and vehicle armor for 40 years! You all seem to forget that this is an AK-47. The US Army has had them since they first captured them in Vietnam (40 years ago!). This isn't real. They've been testing the AK-47 and its rounds against body armor and vehicle armor for 40 years! No US soldier would need to run this test because I guarntee you somewhere in that multi billion dollar budget, that we pay the Federal Government with our taxes, they tested AK-47's.

also, the man fell the absolute wrong way, he practically jumped off of hill, and there is not chunking of his leg missing, the way the ak47 bullet acts is it spreads out when it penetrates, it would have most likely blown a chunk out of his calve, or even gone through it

unfortunatly if it was real, most likely it would not have been the guns fault, the ak-47 is the most reliable assault rifle on earth, it is actually very accurate but it has one of the strongest kicks of any gun. Also, if the gun was inaccurate to that point it could have been that the gun was not taken care of or it was not sighted in.

Not real. Reaperm81, anyone can fake that case-number. Also, the US army has no need to test that gun against anything. I'll guarantee you that they've tested many, many times since they first captured them in the late 1960's against anything they've built.
Plus, not only does this violate Army rules, but you can't see a flash (from the ak 47 of all guns) after the round is fired. Also, the guys filming this are laughing. What guy would laugh after that?

In daylight you can't see a flash. I agree that its kind of stupid, but still..the ak-47 is a common insurgent weapon, and it would be smart to test it including the RPK - 74 and the draganuv.

Lmao its hard to see. Especially in desert, with a bright background, and with that quality of a camera. But it is bullshit that he is holding it above his head. It does seem unlikely.

even though there are not many insurgents with rpk's or dragunuvs, but there are some. Also, yes you can see a muzzle flash in daylight, fire is brighter than the light earth recieves from the sun.

exactly right, I never said it was real...or anything, but just explaining that during daylight its nearly impossible to see the muzzle flash. Yeah, and you'd see a big puff of white smoke/dust/blood on his leg. And actually AK's really aren't that accurate at longer distances, but at that range, for a Captain, he soulda been able to hit the first shot, or at least seen where the bullet hit behind the plate holder dude.

Oh yeah, Fake. Real Fake. IN fact, very fake. No ONE would hold up a plate so some random dude with an AK can shoot at it. You could just as easily been shot in the face, the hands, or the crotch. Its fake.

if that is real - i really doubt it - then the one being shot in the leg should be executed anyway. even the most stupid dumbass wouldn't stand for testing purposes within the fireline of an ak47 which is just fuckin imprecise
