it would be much better if you slowed down, practiced a lot with a metronome, and try lifting your wrists when you play, it will make the fast sections easier
If you tried playing that with a metronome, you would see that you had practically doubled the tempo by 0:40. And you can't play it that fast! At least that 8 year old girl who you critised so harshly could play for more than 30 seconds at the same tempo.
Oh, yes, and I first played that piece when I was 10, (and played it a lot better than you did). Maybe before you critisize young pianists so harshly you should learn to play the piano yourself.
He criticised an 8 year old girl? He has no business to criticise anyone, considering the standard of this performance. It's pretty woeful and has no rhythmic discipine or technical control, plus it seems emotionless. If i was that 8yo girl's father i wouldn't let this guy anywhere near to teach her. She could probably teach him though.
Another fun post. This makes me want to give this piece a try. It does sound like a lot of fun to play. Do a google search for "Chuan Chang" and check out his free pdf on piano practicing. I found that after 20 years of not playing it had some awesome tips that helped motivate me. You might like it, too.
I noticed alot of your performances are only part of the entire repertoire. Why is that? I really like to hear you play the entire piece and make a better recording.
at least he can play while reading

You should try using a metronome. Towards the end you were rushing way too fast.
