why when the people play classical guitar put their guitar on the left leg and when they´re playing flamenco put it on the right leg ?

In classical, using Pappas, Noad, or Schearer's methods (I learned in all three)you are told the importance of posture and calisthenics...and to hold the guitar waist over the left knee (if right handed).

Part 2 That said, I saw some vid footage of John Williams playing, cross legged, with the waist on his right knee! Anyway, the left gives ME a stable guitar. Regarding Flamenco; not only is the guitar often held on the right knee, but the angle of the neck is pretty close to vertical! A story I heard was that the cantinas, in Spain, are so crowded that there is no luxury of any other place for the neck!
