This song means alot to me. When i was 6 months old my dad started abusing drugs and alcohol. I grew up not knowing who he was pretty much or even knowing where he was. He became addicted to both drugs and alcohol and my mom wouldn't let me see him often. On my seventh birthday he had to be bailed out of jail for DUI. When i was 9 my mom had finally had enough and decided to divorce him. It was very hard on me and still is. I now have a great relationship with him. He has been sober for 3 years.
