@pimp500500 yes it was nirvana's last show. the following night was cancelled along with a show in Offenbach the night after that. Then the rest of the european tour was cancelled after he OD'd in Rome and ended up in a coma. Some of the shows had been rescheduled, but obviously he died before them.

However, I just heard this song (My bestfriend girl) for the first time and that makes about 25+ Nirvana songs I really like.

@pimp500500 yes it was nirvana's last show. the following night was cancelled along with a show in Offenbach the night after that. Then the rest of the european tour was cancelled after he OD'd in Rome and ended up in a coma. Some of the shows had been rescheduled, but obviously he died before them.

But I know for a fact that the Beatles made better tunes, had a larger impact and influence, and we're technically better. Obviously Nirvana had a very sad story to it, but that doesn't mean it's better then the Beatles.

@MunisAwesome Agreed, personally, Nirvana is my favorite band of all time, but I still recognized the fact that the Beatles had more influence, followers and a larger impact on music than Nirvana, Nirvana preety much started alternative rock (by saying this I mean getting it to the mainstream) but the Beatles started rock (again, getting it to the mainstream). Also, let's not forget that Kurt was influenced by the Beatles. Bottom line, the Beatles were a better band

But if you listen to the beatle albums after 1965 and put aside your favourites you'll realize how beautifully the albums have been done.
