3:00, not entirely true. Rare candies give you a free level up, with the same effect as any other level up, since EV's are what determine the stats a pokemon gets per level up (which are recalculated at the end of every battle), and rare candies have no effect on EV's.

The thing that gave it away is in crystal when he said " i always get start and select confused" When on the Gamecube controller the start button is in the middle of the controller and select could be either X or Y, so how would you get start and x/y confused? But it has been awhile since I've played on the game boy player.

EMILE! Theres a secret in when you finish the nerd, in Mt. Moon. In Mt. Moon, before the super nerd's platform, there is a corridor 4 spaces long and 1 space wide, go to the end of it and press A and poof! you have a Moon Stone. Thumbs up if this helped! :D
