It's funny how a white woman can have eight kids and instantly become an overnight celebrity, make millions of dollars, and receive an ample amount of support and praise from viewers. However, when a black or Latina has eight kids all of a sudden it's like WW3. Does anyone see the racial bias in that? I see all of these positive comments on youtube. I wonder what these comments would be like if the woman was black or Latino. Do you think that the majority of them would be positive?

You're absolutely right. They CHOSE to take fertility drugs and KNEW there is a very high risk of multiple births. There aren't many differences between Kate and Octomom. They both chose to use their numerous offspring to make money. They are not the only women in the world to have surviving multiple children, most choose NOT to get a FREE RIDE on the backs of their children. Neither have particularly good parenting skills and neither have shown ANYTHING to be praised for.

I actually have a friend who loves the Duggar (sp?) family not just the show she thinks they are such a "great family"and it really bothers me so much and I'm a firm beiliever that YES kids do chores but you don't have your kids raising your other kids that raise the other kids and so on NOT to MENTION that many kids is CRAZY and irresponsible in my opinion. I have a daughter and a son 20 & 17, I had them very YOUNG and like I told my Dr tie my tubes I got one of each and that's enough!

they signed up for the show right? so why the complaint. as u lay ur bed so u lie on it. thats the way it is dearie. they have made good money off it all, only now could .they learn the money does not have all the answers. if pple judge them, they voluntarily offered that opportunity.

Jon is having a mid life crisis brought on a little earlier than most due to being over-whelmed. Its ok for a married man with kids to go out with office mates for a drink every once in a while, but to make a habbit of going out with young single women who haven't a care in the world and not making any demands of him. is a formula for a crisis. I think he will regret leaving later in life. You can't get those years back.

FYI.. Jodi and Kate's brother have been on several of their episodes and have been very helpful to them from what I can tell. I do recall Kate being passive-aggressive toward Jodi. In one episode Jodi is taking care of the kids in her house and gave them bubble gum. Kate flipped out about it on camera and said, "Who would give them gum!" No, "Thanks for taking care of my 8 children." No, she slammed her on television.
I love this show and I would hate it to stop but I really thing they should just leave them alone. Maybe have a special every year or something. In a recent episode Kate told the kids "unbuckle your seat belts and go the paparazzi is already here!" The cn't even say the word. I LOVE this show but TV is ruining their life.

Why can't these couple just finish 5th season and call it QUITS jut to oblige to their contract with TLC. It sounds like they are forced to do this. I personally will not miss the show if they go offline. It is sad to see them unhappy when they are being paid $60K a week to do a half an hour show. Does that make sense????

ur right. Not only having 8 kids is tough but watching your husband making it 9 instead of being there for you and for the children, supporting you doesnt help at all. Jon is having a mid life crisis brought on a little earlier than most due to being over-whelmed. Its ok for a married man with kids to go out with office mates for a drink every once in a while, but to make a habbit of going out with young single women who haven't a care in the world and not making any demands of him. is a formula for a crisis. FYI.. Jodi and Kate's brother have been on several of their episodes and have been very helpful to them from what I can tell. I do recall Kate being passive-aggressive toward Jodi. In one episode Jodi is taking care of the kids in her house and gave them bubble gum. Kate flipped out about it on camera and said, "Who would give them gum!" No, "Thanks for taking care of my 8 children." No, she slammed her on television.

I love this show and I would hate it to stop but I really thing they should just leave them alone. Maybe have a special every year or something. In a recent episode Kate told the kids "unbuckle your seat belts and go the paparazzi is already here!" The cn't even say the word. I LOVE this show but TV is ruining their life.

Kate is in the wrong. Their problems are not about having multiples or being on tv; instead, their problems stem from her insincerity and coldness toward him. She does everything out of routine and does not know what it is like to show love spontaneously and from the heart. She does it to follow her own rules. She demoralizes Jon and makes him feel less of a man. Until she sincerely apologizes and changes, he will never have her back. He's a kind man who really loves his kids; she pretends.

I agree with you 100%. All she does is criticize Jon, make fun of him, and treat him like a child. It's no wonder he wants to be away from her and with someone who shows him some real love. No human being should be treated how she treats him. The other people posted stuff like "she's beautiful" or "they're so lucky because their kids get college money" or "they have such a nice house now" but the all that stuff does not matter without appreciation, respect, and love for one another.

ok ,so it`s obvious jon has had more than enough,,,,,the kids are now well provided for,,yet his wife is still off around the us ,signing books ,every chance she gets??
this is no longer a real peek into an every day couple coping with 2 sets of multiples ,but a dire insight into how greed can ruin "normal" ppls lives.
For the sake of those 8 sweet kids ,i say..TLC..Stop this travesty of a show now ,and show you are not just the learning channel ,but also the careing one!

I watched the show of them going to DisneyLand & John was a miserable douchebag that whole trip, he does it too people, its not just her, she is overbearing & i get that but everybody treats her like she's beating her kids & partying their money away, she is a good mother, she is organized, those kids are clean, healthy, & loved & have seen more than most children have, their lucky & im sure she has secured a nice future for them with the shows earnings, dont be so quick to judge.

everyone just needs to mind their own business, serio. This is a personal problem, the show was meant to be about how they handle taking care of their 8 kids, the media should not have pried this deep, tisk tisk. Why can't these couple just finish 5th season and call it QUITS jut to oblige to their contract with TLC. It sounds like they are forced to do this. I personally will not miss the show if they go offline. It is sad to see them unhappy when they are being paid $60K a week to do a half an hour show. Does that make sense????

she must hate herself! even though SHE DIDNT FORCE HIM TO CHEAT she still must feel responsible. she must struggle with that every day. I hope they make it through cuz they are a great family...minus the allegations of infidelity : )
