Never buy from a pet store. If you want a certain breed find a rescue in your area. If you do use a breeder make sure you see the dogs home environment. No breeder who loves the breed makes money and anyone worth a damn will rescue that breed out of a feeling of responsibility for that breed.

Althoug my dog was not adopted it was a dog my girlfriend rescued from the street with her other 6 brothers and sisters. We fed them and cured them and when they were ready we found them forever homes... The last one was with me for some time and I grew found of her and kept it. Now she is my pet dog.

One of the best things I did in life was adopting Oliver, my little dog some few months ago. Check him on my videos! Yesterday I adopted Fred. I hope to give my new friend as much happiness as Oliver has given me in the last 6 months. Shelter dogs are wonderful!

DON'T BUY DOGS FROM PET STORES... BUY FROM DOG BREEDERS! and why you shouldnt buy from pet stores is becuase of puppy mills! and what puppy mills is, is when dogs are being forced to keep giving birth until they die! just a heads up... no hurt fellings.

I got my lab from a breeder, but would never put my animals in shelters, I got my two cats from shelters and Imma getting another dog from my brother (he was gonna put the dog in a shelter but I told him I would take the dog)

Sadly that is correct, you can't save them all, but one makes a big difference to an animal who has a second chance.
