I've been seeing these for about a year in Arizona. Never ever saw one before. It is always when there are a lot of chemtrails. the blue skies of az are always getting trashed.

Seen and taken pictures of the same thing! My guess is that what you are seeing is the sunlight hitting all the different metals from all the chemtrails in the sky... just my opinion.
sundog (chemdog), get them all the time in our skies (given the perfect conditions, chemtrails), but I must say..I really like your positive take on it - heaven's door!! Gotta see the beauty and the light in everything:) thankyou
Lol sundogs. We get them in Canada all the time. Usually in the winter months when it's cold. I think it has something to do with ice crystals, but not sure. I also believe that chemtrails create them sometimes. Typically see one on either side of the sun equal distant. Atleast thats what I have observed.Cool video.

when the sun hits the cloud vapor at a horizontal angle. I've seen a couple.
