@clarence0100 The Seru are replaced by "Origins", beings of varying elements who assist in battle and utilize different field abilities. The story is about stopping a Star Shaper known as Avalon, who harbors the power of the Supreme Origin and wishes to manipulate the balance of Legaia known as the Source Forge to destroy the world. The protagonist (Lang) is a Star Shaper who seeks to maintain the balance and save his hometown.

@KidMagnum Or they could've read about about in a magazine or heard about it on the internet or learned about it on one of several preview discs during the day, for just a few examples as this is the new millennium. XSeed and NIS hardly advertise and still sell units. The original LoL was a fairly big seller by JRPG standards of the time (not a million seller, but few really are) and L2 is hardly underrated. And I don't know if you were trying to be funny or not, but it's not indie.

This looks legit. Same engine as the original and...I mean, for the time and what the PS2 was dishing out, this seems legit. I mean, deal with it people, Legend of Legaia was no Final Fantasy or Breath of Fire...it was an indie RPG and the sequel is...well another indie RPG. So as far as unknown games go, this was looks okay.

Standard voice work as well so that's cool.

i liked the first 1 more. though i still remember when they talked, like there faces moving i was over excited. this was my first ps2 game, the only thing that i didnt get/finish was the mercenary quest for the auction house, still better than most games out today

Awesome and all, but I have to say that the game could have done better, the battle gets painstakingly annoying when they have to do that "New Art" moment when they do said art if they have it, unlike the first Legaia, once you learn the art, its smooth flowing, hyper arts, well, they're still hyper arts.... But meh. Basically, Legaia 2 is not my cup of tea.

@galaxyangel5 Horrible isn't exactly a word I'd use. On almost every game I look up footage for, I see people bashing the voice acting more than I see people praising it. I mean, what do you want? It sounds fine to me. The likes of Steve Blum, Kari Wahlgren and Kirk Thornton to name a couple can't be in everything at once (although they damn sure try, lol). Their voices get pretty tiresome hearing them everywhere too. =P

@galaxyangel5 well, it was the early 2000s when this game came out. Voice acting wasnt 100% perfect yet. The Bouncer had far worse in my opinion.

i hafta say it is cool they kept the original legend of legaia title theme but with a bit of spices. but as the description said, it is kinda low on some aspect. also i kinda hate this game for not re-including ra-serus for i awaits meta to unleashes his havoc to a newer generation of baddies. also the so-called refined art isnt so flashy. the only flashy stuff i can bear is the variable art. that is the only thing legaia 1 has none. must be cool for vahn and noa to attack together.

I found this game for 5 bucks, and I think I walked away with a good deal.

After playing the game, it seems that in my mind, its the same as every RPG I have played. But it was a well spent 5 bucks nonetheless
