But I'm so grateful for new Dwarf, the 4 of them could stand there and stare at the camera and drool for 23 minutes, and I'd be happy. As long as they resolve the Lister/Kochanski story, that's all that matters. She is his DESTINY.

@catpee11 Personally i do think they all looked older in 'Back To Earth' but it has been over 20yrs since it all began....i like the fact they look older because in keeping with the series it cements the fact that these few people really have been stranded together for so long on the mining ship. People remember them from series 1 - 8 so when they returned in 'BTE' 10yrs had passed and they were bound to have aged....it really doesnt bother me,im just happy to have them back!

The join between Robert's eyes and the mask isn't as good as it was in the old days. More than you could in the early 90s you can actually see Robert inside.

People keep saying how old they all look but it has been quite some time since that chubby red mining ship first hit our screens....its a choice of having more episodes and accept they are going to look older or just finish the show completely....after such a hiatus im so happy more episode are being made....my only gripe with the new episodes not being made by the BBC means that the show is split into two with an ad break but i guess once it has a DVD release i can watch it uninterrupted lol:)

@mrmjcole i don't think they'll look that much different. "Red Dwarf: Back to Earth" was just a couple years ago and they looked the same as ever. i'm just glad a bunch of TV stations here in the US have already optioned the rights to show the new series!

oh, and as for commercials...it could always be worse;) here in the US, we've got commercials every six or seven minutes! (then again, we don't pay for basic TV, so i guess that's the trade-off.)
