I've seen this kind of hacking before too, and i got really pissed with the guy, we dont expect to be killed by someone wearing the same uniform as ur team. Im trying to remember if the guy was this one.
he probably went and changed the config files in his bf3 file folder to change his uniform appearance to the opposite of what team he is on. on guy even "unlocked" battlerecorder by changing some of the values/codes in the game's program files.
I think his uniform and name change was a display bug. i have had it on previous Battlefield games where it would gitch and i would spawn on enemy squad leaders. Games are not free of bugs. Things happen.
Ok he seems to have some sort of bullet dmg hack, because on one scene he is actually shooting at you. but on other scenes, you just fall without getting hit. curious!
second thing: his uniform MIGHT BE a display bug. i got this bug, too. just that i see the uniforms in black/white patterns :) looks amazingly crazy. this might be the fault in your case, just that he's wearing the wrong uniform :D

it gives many more places that you dont see and hear... like 1:32 left edge of the house or 2:01 ON the roof (outside) of the house right of you.
