This reminds me of the days when George played a 'Guild Starfire'..it had that same Telecaster sound. GB is astounding! He'd rive any young rock player into the ground I've been a fan of Benson since 1968..since Wes Montgomery passed the torch to him and Pat Martino.

But I think the guitar that he was playing probably cost a pretty penny. @noinwe Yeah, but as I alluded to on my previous post; solid-body guitars sound like "toys" compared to archtops equipped with Flatwounds when playing traditional Jazz chops on the clean channel - despite the cost or level of the instrument. I know, I feel awkward myself doing a Benson tune on my 61-reissue SC or Ibanex RG-series, as opposed to my Ibanez GB-10, or ANY archtop model...
