  • Arlo --- please check you MySpace add requests. Would love to have you in my arsenal. I go way back with you to the Austin Generic Joe days ---your debut in Austin. I was there and loved it. Jesus Just Left Chicago and Too Much BBQ and talk of a "too heavy" '79-ish Stratocaster you (and I) once owned. Dr. Bluesman

  • Arlo, The Byrd has "flown" but he still fly's through your fingers! If he were still here, he would be proud of your interpretation of that classic song (my favorite Aces song)! Russell Smith should look you up! You got that Aces thing goin' on! I've been playin' for over 40 years ... I could never find anyone who wanted to play their tunes, can you imagine?

  • Thanks Geoff,

Byrd was a great player and it was a sad day to hear of his passing. Ace's have always been very high on my favorite list. I would love to play this one just once with Russ and the band live! What a fun song to play lead on for sure.

  • Thats really good man do you think you could send me the tabs for that i would really like to learn how to play it. thank you

  • Tim I don't have the tabs for this one sorry. Just do what I did when I was a young man many years ago. Learn it by listening and studying Byrd's technique. We had no Internet back then just an 8 track player or a record player!

  • VERY nice guitar: The Pinecaster. Also, some very tasty chops! I enjoyed the whole video and was highly impressed with the playing.

  • Not bad for L/A Maine. He Arlo, you know Tim Treadwell?
