We always have seen how ugly and out of style Roger Ebert has been. We can imagine what losers anyone must be to admire him and seek his advice before seeing a movie. Ebert was a smut screenplay writer and drunkard who failed and turned to trashing other people's movies. I totally agree with stickinthemud1524 here.
@Dottiecurran Your forgot to add that he also won a Pulitzer prize for criticism. The first critic ever to win such a prize. Hopefully your efforts to be truly "fair and balanced" will lead away from slander, ad hominen attack and perhaps even to books.
@estanya66 Please continue to seek a failed sleaze screenplay writers opinion on which movie to see (Beyond the Valley of the Dolls). We can all see how hip and in style he always was, too! He can direct you on your choices and make money off smut, too. Oh, what a figure! Those cartoon glasses! But now he is about over, rotting while alive and seeks publicity kicking a dead actor for drinking, when Ebert's bio states he was a long time drunkard himself!
@Dottiecurran yes, ebert was a 'drunkard' (as you call it.) key word being he WAS, a drunkard. he sought help, and won his battle with alcholism long before he ever lost his jaw and could not longer drink. is it so wrong for him to suggest a fellow alchoholic couldve and shouldve done the same before an innocent life was taken? if you had any sense you never wouldve suggested otherwise for the sole purpose of bashing roger ebert.
@JJJ10JJJ I've seen your page and you have no sense. Seeking cheap publicity kicking the dead before the funeral is what deformed cancerous blob Ebert did. A hypocrite, long over like his fans.
Roger Ebert's a good writer, not so much in this letter, but w/e. It was humorous, I found it funny even though I hate him. I would say he should stick to the movie reviews, but I don't even respect him much as a reviewer. Though I respect some of his earlier writings, I feel he is more and more out of touch with cultural norms. He's becoming that annoying old man in reviews. He's so wannabe pretentious yet tries to pretend he's not
Roger Ebert is nothing but a deformed, ugly, grim failed smut writer. His highpoint was "Beyond the Valley of the Dolls" and "Who Killed Bambi?". Olberman is out and out crazy! Why they let this loon on tv is beyond me. He's just a ranting nutcase who looks like he's going to have a coronary any second. Thank God I don't see his sarcastic/smiling face on NFL Sundays anymore. Yuck, what a vile person.
Does anyone know why Keith Olbermann has been sitting in a red chair with the lights in the studio turned out and reading some old ass book? I've caught him doing it a couple of times now? Why is he doing this, why is he reading books at the end of his show and what is he reading and why is he reading these specific books??
I don't much like "Bill-o" but I don't hate him like Olbermann does -or like rabid liberals do- and I dislike Olbermann more. It is funny that Olbermann pointed out the part where Ebert said "Bill-o" gets red and screams when someone disagrees with him, I've watched "Bill-o" more than I have "Kieth-o", and I've seen more red faced screaming from "Kieth-o". Of course the biased Ebert won't ever point that out, but "Kieth-o" is a hypocrite to raise that "slam".
Maybe he didn't mention Olbermann because his letter was to O'Reilly and it was entirely in response to O'Reilly's attack on his company. Sorry not every time someone points out something wrong with a rightwing figure that they don't counterbalance it by including someone with no relation to the conversation.

But going back to politics, did you think it was "perfect" when he described Charles Krauthammer as admirable?
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
I really think Roger is wasting his time defending his newspaper like that, making it all personal. Print papers in general are going down. I think he's being far too loyal to a generic rag. Ebert himself is a far bigger name than "The Chicago Sun Times".
BTW if Obama's health plan had been in place last year, Ebert might not have been even alive to write the letter. The bill includes a section which basically amounts to telling old people to go home and die because they cost too much to treat
Ebert also has his own website where he writes reviews. I don't think it was so much about him defending the sun times as much as question why a journalist like bill would wish for a newspaper to fail. which ebert is right, that is very odd.
Oh, it's technically described as a newspaper, right? That means it must be a holy ray of enlighteny-ness, a journotastic truth-wow-cake, and if anyone dares to think anything other than "I hope everyone who works there gets showered in unicorn semen", they are an ANTI-INTELLECTUAL!!!!12. Rite rite? Bill O'reilly hates edukashion!!11
the bullshit you deluded, pseudo intellectual Obama cultists come up with is just beyond fucking belief. really.
Thats true that newspapers will eventually cease to exist (why do you hate newspapers so much?). But the way you're arguing is very juvenile. You will never be taken seriously in an argument if you're constantly throwing out insults to prove a point... Oddly enough this is exactly how Bill O'Reilly makes his opinion known. This is why the both of you will never understand why your opinions are disregarded over and over again. You won't even try to see things from other people's perspective.
Based on the fact that you would bring the Private Members Self-Loathing and Grievous Body Titilation group's policies randomly into a conversation about the imbecilic Bill O'Reilley, would seem to suggest so yes.
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
Nothing but facts sorry ass moonbat. Olberwomann talks about O'Reilly every fucking night. He wouldn't have anyone on that opposed him if his miserable life depended on it. He is nothing but a coward, loon.
Even though that's completely false, would it hypothetically be worse than bringing on the weakest forms of liberals you can find *cough Colmes* or those that CAN defend themselves, and instead of listening or giving them a chance to submit their side of the story, you yell and scream at them throughout the debate until finally shutting their mic's off as they try to talk under you're constant barrage of insults, and questions that you refuse to let them answer properly in the first place?
How did you manage to read that post and miss 80% of the text?! I guess thats the same way you can possibly defend a right wing perspective- look the other way/pretend it didn't happenism.
Bill O'Reily, henceforth shall be forever be referred to by me as SQUEAKY!

I bet they didn't report THAT in any of your shitty media outlets. Fucking liberal buffoon.

Wow that's a lot of negativity. What about Roger's letter was "ill informed"?

Ebert also has his own website where he writes reviews. I don't think it was so much about him defending the sun times as much as question why a journalist like bill would wish for a newspaper to fail. which ebert is right, that is very odd.

Oh, it's technically described as a newspaper, right? That means it must be a holy ray of enlighteny-ness, a journotastic truth-wow-cake, and if anyone dares to think anything other than "I hope everyone who works there gets showered in unicorn semen", they are an ANTI-INTELLECTUAL!!!!12. Rite rite? Bill O'reilly hates edukashion!!11
the bullshit you deluded, pseudo intellectual Obama cultists come up with is just beyond fucking belief. really.

"Ebert also has his own website where he writes reviews. "
That was exactly my point you mind-numbed fuck.
When someone wants to read Ebert's reviews, they just go on the internet. They don't think "ooh, I'd better fly to Chicago and pick up a Sun-times!""
All newspapers are going down because they are generic rags and the internet has taken over.

Based on what?
That I dare to disagree with the PMSLGBT party line?
BlackpeopleLOL 2 years ago
Based on the fact that you would bring the Private Members Self-Loathing and Grievous Body Titilation group's policies randomly into a conversation about the imbecilic Bill O'Reilley, would seem to suggest so yes.

Oh jokes now?
Thanks for admitting you have no case.

If jokes are an admission of no case where you come from, then I'm afraid you were BORN without a case, sugar.

O'Reilly was a placekicker. Olbermann was a reporter. A far as the drivel they peddle now is concerned, pick your "Poison Idea."

How can you miss a whole post? What did I say that was false?
Also explain to me the 80% I missed.

Weakest forms of Liberals? So Obama, Hillary Clinton, Michael Moore, Chris Dobbs, Jon Stuart, Bill Mahr are all weak libs?

How did you manage to read that post and miss 80% of the text?! I guess thats the same way you can possibly defend a right wing perspective- look the other way/pretend it didn't happenism.
