I've Just Played Wendy In Doncasters New Youth Theatre Production and we also performed this song with the last verse as a duet its such a moving song it had our entire cast in tears on the final night

Wow, this song's really beutiful. I was surprised it was froma Peter Pan adaptation - I mean all the Peter Pan theatre version related song's I've hard have been quite messy and shallow, not doing justice to the depth of the story. This song's so great that even that irritating Disney cartoon elf-peter didn't bother me. But it'd been more suiting if you used a real Peter Pan that is a human boy - best if like the one from the black and white film.

This song is beautiful! I can't believe theres a british version of the muscial, I only thought there was one and that was the American one obviously. Now I want to see the british one to see how different they are. I really wish this song was in the verison that I saw!

strange when you think it's performed by Nicola Stapleton, more famous for Bad Girls and Eastenders. I saw her perform it on Children in Need back in the 80's and loved it ever since. Love to see that video if anyone has it. But thanks SO much for posting this!

I performed this play, I was Peters Understudy... In our performence, Peter was played by a boy, i was his understudy, but that was before my voice broke, i used to be good at singing back then...
