Video cameras capture the sounds of weapons quite badly, they sound really loud in real life. Don't get me started about how loud grenades/artilleryrounds sound. :)

Americans use M16s and M4s, Brits use LM-75s I believe or EN-75s, can't remember, Swiss use the AUG, Germans use the G36, and other countries use what they use.
