  • Cant you get lead poisoning from the vapors?

  • Yikes! 80 year old paint very likely has lead. High heat guns and propane torches are now illegal for contractors and definitely vaporize toxic lead. Quiet, faster heating of shoebox-size area at 400 releases releases no lead fumes using eco-strip infrared paint remover.

  • @cbrooksecostrip

striping or blasting anything causes cancer. I am even afraid to cut bricks or concrete anymore.

  • Use aircraft remover. Spray it on then sit back and enjoy the show.

  • I still find the propane torch works quicker but it is a little more dangerous and also messy (burning flakes of paint) and the risk of fire but it is a lot quicker. Another way of removing paint is with a course aggressive sanding machine depending on what you're stripping

  • did the same ERROR years ago with a industrial heat gun. never again. took me ages to complete 6 pairs of shutters and windows. NEVER AGAIN!

  • For really fast paint removal I use a propane torch ..once the building catches

fire its only a matter of a few minutes till the problem is solved.

Bring a six pack and kick back and watch the firemen at work.

Fast, easy, fun solution to a difficult job.

  • At the end he gives up and drops a camera...

  • Aaahhhh! Wart gun!!

  • FUCK!!! I had me earphones on full volume :/

  • Just did this today!

  • thenks man.....cool idea,i from slovenia

  • ok, i will try it and see who it works, thanx

  • 80 year old paint has lead in it! Use low heat infrared speedheater from eco-strip to not vaporize the lead. That is an EPA lead-safe method.

  • wow removing 80 year old paint- seems like to would take 80 years with that method

  • @bushkilledtowers it actually doesn't take that long. The paint heats up within seconds and a broad scraper peels it away cleanly. I'd say it took less than five minutes to clean the surface area we see in this video.

  • Yikes, no warning about the lead-health risk and how to do lead-safe work.
