  • I think it's great your chid was allowed to help. Funny kids like breaking things any way. Seriously thanks for showing. I'm trying to get enough nerve to remove some 40 year old tile and update with modern tile. Thanks...great video

  • Haha all of you's who commented on eye protection and asbestos are idiots it's a couple of tiles on a drywall get a grip.

  • safety glasses???

  • My God, even America has child laborers!

  • Is Robert asbestos free or ailing right now?

  • @thegoosebrain - I am so glad that you and so many others are concerned with the safety of my child. He is fine, house was tested for lead paint years ago and none was found, and yes, he should have been given safety goggles or not been allowed to help. He heard his step mom removing tile and wanted to help. He was done in a matter of minutes and we finished the rest. Thanks for watching!

  • there might be lead paint or other harmful crap, is it responsible to have a child in that?

  • and what's about the safety !! poor boy with such parents !

  • hey.. i have that hammer xD

  • He's superCUTE!! Reminds me of my little guy. I was nervous not seeing any eye protection (you never know right?) But was glad to see that he was very gentle with the hammer as to not cause anything to pop up.

  • Smart parents for letting their kid...not so smart for not giving him eye protection.

  • nice belch at the end.

  • He is using a 5 and 1 tool. Mine was purchased at Sherwin-Williams.

  • Is that just some kind of light metal, spatula or knife? Or is it some special tile removing tool?

  • This video wins.

  • Great job. Please use eye protection.

  • my husband and i were thinking about removing our kitchen backsplash, after seeing this video i feel encouraged...THANKS RM!...:o)

  • ahhh this is what kids are really for little workers

  • Great Job

BUT don't forget eye protection next time

  • My nephew ROCKS! You're the next Bob Vila, Robert Michael!

    Love, Aunt Julie

P.S. Not bad on the number of views for this YT video, guys! You're beating out a few of my TheBoaters TV episodes.

  • 13675 so far. woohoo

  • That's because his Aunt Julie is the YouTube Secret Weapon. Lots of views runs in the family. ;-)

  • Get that kid some eye protection!

  • Kid's doing great! Contractors really roll in dough. Husband gets an C for nagging and A+ for belching.

  • my house next robert michael?

  • ummmmm...where is his protective gear and I am a little nervous about how he is sitting on the counter? He is doing a great job, but it just looks a little unsafe, despite the fact his parents are right there.

  • i agree.great that he's learning and getting involved but he's dad should know better than that.where are the saftey glasses? it only needs one chip to fly off and hit him in the eye...

  • Good job! What kind of tool (other than the hammer)is that?

  • Looks like a putty knife

  • its called a 5 in 1. its a great tool and has so many uses for tiling or painting and decorating, well worth adding one to your toolbox.

  • Can you use it on floor ceramic tiles?

  • it's a 5 in1
