benton006 should visit this or other regions of the world and learn a bit before speaking. The light of the world is through Christ Jesus Yeshua the Messiah.
The video is a series of photos which is fine. Is isn't too good because the music is annoying and there are no comments with the photos.
Thank you for your comments. My hope is that the problems you mentioned would never be part of the Yanomamo culture, or any other.
Please do accept my apology. I am sorry for where Christianity was ever presented to you in a way that attempted to devalue you, your thoughts, ideas or beliefs. I personally do not agree either with westernization being implemented in the name of Christianity.
The Yanomamo are a beautiful people and the experience was one of the most memorable of my life.
Personally, I find the whole idea of introducing indigenous peoples like the Yanomami to Western ideals and Christianity highly offensive. Their way of life has worked for thousands of years. Why open the doors to disease, alcoholism, poverty, etc.?
Of course, reporters and anthropologists are almost as responsible ... but at least they don't have the "we're right and you're wrong" mentality.
"Their way of life has worked for thousands of years". You could say that about any living people group, what exactly do you mean by "worked for them". If you mean that their life style of anger, rape, constant self perpetuating war, demon worship and drug addiction has actually been a good thing for the Yanomamo people, than I disagree. Have you ever spoken to a Yanomamo? Or a Yanomamo shaman? They hate the way they live, and desperately desire a way out. They don't heroicize death like you do.
