This along with mario golf, the second pokemon series, the zelda oracle series, wario land 2&3 and super mario bros deluxe were the best gbc games.

Loved the fantastic story mode, this game was/is incredible! Have completed the entire game. The graphics for a Gameboy Color game were outstanding back then, it was way better than many other games for the Gameboy Color. The story mode wasn't that easy, you had to practise, complete mini-games, win tournaments, etc. The animations in between were a little long but very nice.

Brings back good memories.

i spent my late childhood in this game. Everyday was this game it was my LIFE!!! i was at the last level of doubles, my guys vs peach and mario. it was too hard for me back then so i stopped. last year i remembered this game and wanted to go back to finally win. i lost the game. FML!!!

I got this game when it was new, and I agree that is is the greatest tennis game in my opinion, but I haven't tried Camelot's Game Boy Advance version of Mario Tennis, and I have wondered if that is better than this.

I never played the Gameboy version but I loved playing the N64 version. I think this looks pretty good though. Nice review, I'll watch more.

This is easily my favorite Mario sports game. The rpg-ness of it and its sequel were awesome. I've still got Mario golf: Advance Tour sitting around, waiting to be played one day. Hopefully it's as fun as this one was

this was my absolute fave game for the gbc, and because of past system playability (i dont know what its called) on the gba, its my fave there too. the mario tennis sequel for the gba is a close second tho
