the only problem i had with the origional was when my entenna fell out. so i got a new oneand the keyboard backlight flickered and buzzed, so they sent me another and the pressure sensors were dead. so the girl at verizon sent me the new version instead. its so much better.

The iphone will be improved ( with updates) over time and Apple will always add more gigs for their products (Now their is a 160 gig ipod) On March 6th, the software development kit will come out, which means tons of 3rd party apps will be available. The Voyager will pretty much stay the same as. The iphone and Voyager are pretty much tied right now. As Apple does what it does best, the iphone will come on top. The iphone is the smart choice

This phone is a huge step back if you have a Treo or Blackberry and like instant access to email. I like Verizon's phone service, very good. Anyway, I just got the voyager today and will give it back tomorrow. It is fine if you want to sit around watching tv on your phone (why?!) But if you like it to be easy to read and respond to email and actually read PDFs, then stick with the Treo/BBerry.

From what I have read, Apple gave Verizon the chance to market the iPhone and they turned them down...either way, with the evolution of cell phone design, this was the natural next way to go...sleek design and all touch screen. Verizon was smart to see all kinks in the iPhone and try to improve upon them. For now, I'll stick with my PALM Treo 750p, which I love.
