Hey Bloke, thats a B15 Sentra you're looking at and depending on the year it will either have a 1.6 GA16DE I4, or a 1.8QG18DE I4. The former will produce about 110-115 bhp, while the latter will produce around 126 bhp with 114 ft-lb of tourque @ 4,400 rpm. Hope this helped. :)

I used to have a '92 Sentra E. It had a 1.6 L with a 4-speed and she could move when asked. This looks like 2000 or later. Put a manual trans in it for starters. It's got potential.

That would be the B15 - Fifth Generation.

The auto trans in those are a bit dodgy sometimes, I worry you might have problems with the sensors to in the intake will all the dust. Cheap mod to keep it sucking clean air, just get yourself a washable K&N filter, or stock up on some cheap paper ones! Once the dust gets to the MAF in one of those it won't want to run properly.

Honestly Bloke, just grab the VIN next time, you don't have pay a cent to find out anything, just google the VIN + Sentra!

It looks just like my 2003 Sentra GXE with the 1.8L. Same color and all. Be glad you don't have the kitten-eating 2.5L otherwise you would likely have some issues. It doesn't have leather seats and a moon roof, but it'll do for a farm car. Get rid of both cats on it and straight pipe it. She should run pretty good.

ugh. It's a B15. That means Q-series engines...yuck. It's got the 1.8 QG18DE, since the QR25 came in the SE-R only, from what I can tell. It's a pre '03 model, looks like, an auto at that. I think you can do much better than that one, Bloke.

@JimPrower It's an '02-06..probably an '02-'03. It's a GOOD thing it's not the 2.5 liter...many of those died because of the headgasket or the catalyst failing and then ruining the engine. I'm going to predict this one will be a no-go because it's still worth too much.

get it and strip all that you can off of it, sell off the good parts if you can on ebay or where ever. get 2 rubber spring donuts and wedge them into the right side springs. those are the cheapest things you can do to a street car to make it a field racer. leave the front glass in but take out the rest and sell them. I wouldn't be suprized to see you pull 4-500 pounds out of that car

That's only an overdrive button on the shifter, nothing special. Some slow ass piece of shit and on top of that, automatic.... don't waste money on that.

@WoZIMoo Thats not an overdrive button. That's the button you push in to put the car in gear. the Shifter is locked in place until you push that button which unlocks it. If it was overdrive you would just put the gear in OD. P R N OD D 3 2 1

I was refering to the overdrive button, which you can kinda see at 1:30 under the silver button. This is a button to keep the transmission in third gear, instead of needing to add a "3" slot for the shifter. Look at the shifter, there is only P R N D 2 1. I know, I've owned 2 Nissans that had it...

thats an 00-03 with 126 hp. should compete well pretty well. the saturns have quite a bit more hp but more torque (122 o the nissans 108).
