The backtracking in this isn't as bad as the PC-XXXX ones up to the Turbografix-something. You'd have to not only go back to the wall and find the Gaw, when you return to Mr. Troublemaker, you have to backtrack to the first level (and talk to a certain NPC?) in order to find the bomb before going back to the wall to retrieve the pickax. Ooyyyy, Mail has every right in the universe to yell at him!

In this version, at least Slick gives you the bomb before sending you to clean up his messes.

Considering how much money the game demands from you, I wasn't too bothered by the backtracking. Gave me a chance to grind some more without technically halting my progress in the story.

Honestly, I wish I could do Lost Vikings again. There's a lot about the LP that I'd want to improve. But trying to coordinate all three of our schedules is just too hard.

I also wish we could do Lost Vikings 2. We tried - Mors and I were going to just use the same computer and trade controllers... but the SNES netplay was just too sketchy.

It's not that CT is long but rather it that rpg do not make for very easy to watch LP's genrerally.
