Does anybody know how to deal with the bug where there's no sound effect when you hit an enemy in battle? It kinda makes the battle a little boring...

I had the same issue... here's how I fixed it.

First go to OPTIONS -- SELECT PLUGINS and change the Sound Plugin to NullAICA built Aug 20 2008 v.0.1.0 (nullAICA_Win32.dll)

Restart the Emulator then when you start it back up, make sure you click on OPTIONS -- AICA -- DSP Emulation is checked. Then you should get it back.

I couldn't get Chankast to work on my computer, but nullDC is liek uber fast and such. Plays Tokyo Extreme Racer 2 and Resident Evil: Code Veronica, so... hells yeah.

nulldc is still in beta form but runs smoother then chankast and runs all the games chankast couldn't plus you really don't need alcohol 120% or daemontools to run it

how come everytime i put any dreamcast cd in whether its PAL OR NTSC it thinks its a music cd the only cd that does work is my utopia import cd , but when i take the cd out to put the actull game in nothing happens i have all the bio's and plugins so what am i doing wrong ?

u have to mount the cdi, iso or mdf image using either daemontools or alcohol120% and then u have to configure chankast or nulldc using configureDrive

wich is placing the drive where u mounted the image

every video i see everybodies nulldc runs at 20-30 fps... im not trying to brag but im getting 60 fps...

Some games are supposed to cap the frame rate at 30FPS.

Grandia 2 & Sonic adventure 1 is an example.

great job. just a little problem with shadows and sound effects, but looks like better than other dc emulators. I wander how the 2d games (like street fighter III) looks like on nulldc?
